  1. Message board fodder. That's all it is. I can't believe there is a police department anywhere that would buy into a bunch of bickering from an internet forum. It's quite silly. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  2. Sailshaw said: "Enough is Enough" I don't always agree with you, but I could not agree more with this! Blevins said to Shutter: "There is one big thing that Dropzone's DB Cooper thread has that you don't have: Thousands of pages containing a wealth of genuine information on the case. True enough Robert, but it also has thousands of pages containing nothing but pure bullshit. And I don't mean just KC. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  3. So Kenny told Helen Jones he was with Bernie. Have you considered he may have been lying? If he did the hijacking, why would he admit being with his accomplice? Seems he would cover his ass a little better than that. Do you have any witnesses that actually saw these guys together? Kenny telling Jones they were together certainly does not suffice as proof that they were actually together. Maybe Kenny had another accomplice and lied and said he was with Bernie. Maybe he was with someone else, whom he did not want to reveal, and cover that up by lying and saying he was with Bernie. Then again, Kenny was such a good guy, it's hard to imagine him being the type to lie. Hijack an airplane? Certainly, but lie? No way. 4. Ha! I think I have finally figured out that (^) code!!! "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  5. We will move on with the knowledge that we eliminated a suspect ... Years after Larry Carr himself eliminated him. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  6. f) a photographic memory, which allowed her to remember, in vivid details, everything from tie tacs - and ties, of course- and toupees and every Thanksgiving dinner she had attended in her life, dating back to her time in her mother's womb, and all in attendance (and especially those who were not? And now it seems there are others with similar photographic memory. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  7. ??????? So, people read the book and then ask if you think KC was the guy? That's a pretty easy question to answer even if they haven't read the book.
  8. I don't recall "Most, but not all" making insulting posts about you doing the slideshow. I also don't recall anyone "Freaking out" about Kitt coming to the presentation. What I do recall is that Mark Bennet said that he he would be there, and then a couple of days later, you decided not to do it. I, for one, was looking forward to it (the youtube version). Though, I think Kenny is a poor suspect and there is zero evidence against him, I am always willing to listen to anything new. At the same time, I am not going to worry about it if you choose not to share it. 100% your prerogative. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  9. An ex lover....no doubt. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  10. Until someone can put a name to an FBI agent that thinks KC is a good suspect, I will continue to believe there are none. I don't think there are many people at all that buy KC as a viable suspect. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  11. Is Snowmman still interested in the Cooper case, and would he return to DZ if allowed? I've been reading the earlier parts of the thread and really enjoy his and Sluggos contributions. They actually discuss Cooper back there!! "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  12. While this forum may never determine who Cooper was, it has gone a long way, in my opinion, in showing who he wasn't. I don't see how anyone could read through this forum and walk away thinking that either of the two most touted suspects here had anything to do with NORJACK. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  13. Going out on a limb here, but sounds like this mystery person could be.....here it is...an ex lover. In which case, we know the gender. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  14. So, you let this mystery person see the new updated report, BEFORE you interview them?? I say this in all sincerity Robert, I hope you have something here. I want the case solved and I'm fine with it being Kenny. But my gut feeling is that this is going to be another witness with impeccable 40 year memory that still cannot put Kenny on that plane. Good Luck, seriously. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  15. Good info nonetheless. I had the impression, based on Blevins postings, that Kitt was a supporter of KC being Cooper. That's on me, I don' recall Blevins actually saying that, just an assumption I made. I should know better....too many assumptions are probably a big reason as to why this case remains unsolved! "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  16. The question that comes to mind, is why would Mr. Kitt be willing to travel to the presentation (which is now off again) at Auburn Days if these were his opinions? I certainly do not doubt what you are saying, I'm just curious about his intentions. Good post, Interesting stuff. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  17. So Robert, are you now saying you ARE NOT doing the KC presentation at Auburn Days? "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  18. I'd say the Cooper part is the only part I would read. I haven't read anything since my favorite author, Vince Flynn died last year. If you haven't read his Mitch Rapp series....do! "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  19. Lol, no please don't go over the whole Kenny thing again. What I meant was what town, city or state they were in. I ask because you said only one was in Bonney Lake. Not really a big deal, just curious. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  20. Robert, what kind of things did Skip uncover during his initial investigation? You did the interviews, which you say is the big evidence. Was it Skip that discovered that KC bought his house for cash? Where did you interview your witnesses? "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  21. I am not from the Northwest (Southern by birth, Rocky Top by the grace of God
  22. Robert, every time I have brought this point up, you have never addressed it. I will say it again: There is no way that you can expect a person to remember who they were with and what they were doing on a random day over 40 years ago, unless they were doing something they would obviously remember. Yes, if Bernie helped Kenny do the job, he would certainly remember it. But, if not, and it was just another day or just another week, you cannot expect him to remember that he was with Kenny on that day. So, Bernie saying Kenny could be the hijacker is not evidence of anything. If he was with Kenny, he almost certainly does not remember it. (Of course, I could be wrong. Impeccable memory seems to be a common trait in Bonney Lake). Secondly, did any of your witnesses actually see them together at that time? Or are they going on hearsay? If they did the job, why would Kenny admit being with his accomplice? Seems he would lie and say anything but that he was with Bernie. Thirdly, there could be any number of reasons that he would want to distance himself from Kenny. One is pretty obvious. Look, I have no beef with you, I think you know that. But I have serious issues with all of the suspects. There are some tough questions that need answered by anyone putting forth suspects. I want to see the case solved. I want badly to know who did the job. If it turned out to be Kenny, I would have no problem with that. I'm sure there are some that would, I'm not one of them. Same goes for any of the suspects. But, when I look at Kenny, I just do not see the amazing coincidences that you see. I don't think the FBI does either. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  23. I've been reading the thread for quite a while. I quite enjoy the old parts of the thread from when NORJACK was actually discussed. That isn't the case anymore. Yeah, there is the occasional discussion of certain suspects, but the case itself has not been discussed in ages. At least it is being discussed elsewhere. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  24. Here is an excerpt from an linked article about Tina Mucklow. .... after graduation she found work as a flight attendant, and eventually moved to the West Coast. “I mostly flew to Japan the last five years,” she says. http://www.eugeneweekly.com/article/tina-larson Flew to Japan for five years after the hijacking. Do ya think ....just maybe.....she would have recognized Kenny as Cooper on one of her trips overseas. They most certainly would have flown together at least once. Very interesting. Looks like she went back to a blonde after Galen Cook had those pictures taken of her. In those pictures she has gray hair. I don't really have an answer for you on that. I do know that she won't look at pictures of Christiansen or discuss him in any way. God knows, Geoff Gray tried hard enough. It's a mystery for sure. I'm happy her life is going well, though. There is a very simple answer for that. Yet, another thing that points away from KC as being Cooper. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  25. My thought is that if there were anything earth shattering on the new report, anything that made him look like he was correct in his thought that Kenny was Cooper, we would have seen it by now. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
