1 pointAre there any people who have been jumped in Las Vegas ? which DZ ? our goal is to have possibily to jump as much as we want , with facilites etc. your comments please

1 pointFrom my understanding, the dropzones near there focus mostly on tandems and not very good for fun jumpers as you won't be able to get a lot of jumps in.

1 pointPeople are saying HOA means something else, I think they're saying Horny Old Asshole, but I don't know. It's just what people are saying.

1 pointYes that is true. I also have my coach rating, and it is to give back to the sport. I have a Mon-Fri. gig that pays my bills so I dont do it for the money. I waited til I had about 400 jumps before I got my coach rating. I wanted to make sure I was solid. My first 2 years/250 jumps back in the sport, I only jumped on weekends "Excell" camp was happening. One year in to "Excell" camp I was asked to be the coaches asst. when they had a big turn out as far as participants. One year later I became a regular coach in the camp in 2007. We have had a lot of success over the years. Some of the participants have become coaches, and some have gone on to win metals at Nationals on teams. It is the best money you will NEVER spend.

1 pointWell, the funny part of that is that if someone is old or really poor, Medicare & Medicaid can be of help (many but not all). It's the 'working class' folks, you know, the ones Trump and the Rs are so popular with, that end up going bankrupt over medical bills.

1 pointI have no idea how this got so complicated. I'd just do it. There are some basic rules like don't use a slider with grommets significantly wider then your cell. Depending on the length of your stabilizers your slider should not be setting on your bottom skin when packing. If it's so much wider that it's just crumpled on the bottom skin the fabric will not be holding the grommets up the lines till they slide low enough to lift the fabric off the bottom skin. Only then will the wind be holding it up. That's a fairly extreme limit but I have seen people make that mistake. Don't people futz with there gear any more? Lee

1 pointSpoke with them this week and they are in process of transitioning to new factory and hence not taking new orders. They are making new parts and dealers have contact details of Chris. They are definitely still in business and just transitioning at the moment.
