skydivingdutch 0 #1 May 18, 2005 Here's the route : http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=corvallis+or&daddr=chandler+az&hl=en I am moving from oregon following my graduation in 3 weeks. I will load up my car with my worldly possesions and move on down to Chander AZ. Since this is going to be a damn boring trip, I want to take skydiving breaks along the way. So, where are the dropzones that are on or close to I-5 and I-10? http://dropman.com
Kimblair13 0 #2 May 18, 2005 Dude, WTF are you moving there for? Congrats on graduation. -Kim
bodypilot1 0 #3 May 18, 2005 The Parachute Center in Lodi is just 10 mins off I-5, open 7 days a week, with $15 jumps from an Otter or FAST Beech 99. See map below. Be safe. Edwww.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
skybytch 259 #4 May 18, 2005 I only know the ones between Sacramento and the AZ border... Davis is about 30 minutes west of I5 (Sacramento) off I80. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Depending on student load the PAC flies often on the other weekdays; if not they'll send the Cessna with 2 paid slots. Lodi is on the 99, about a 30 minute detour from I5 (south of Sacramento). Open 7 days. Perris and Elsinore are each about a 30 minute detour south of I10. Perris is open 7 days, not sure about Elsinore. imho, all are worth a stop. edit to add - Taft is off I5, almost to the Grapevine. Don't know days of operation or aircraft (other than they have a PAC).
sundevil777 94 #5 May 18, 2005 The DZ in Buckeye, AZ is VERY close to I-10. Has a nice view of the nuclear power plant.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
avgjoe 0 #6 May 18, 2005 Add Cal city if you don't want to go over grapevine. Madera if you stay on 99 after Lodi. Depending on how long you want to take you could hit 6 dz's on the way. Avgjoe Hook it for Safety

It has never taken me more than 15 minutes from the 113/I-5 interchange. Hmmm maybe I need to slow down? GravityGirl 0 #19 May 19, 2005 Start in Mollala. Hit Creswell. Then Eugene. Then Paradise. Then Davis. Then Lodi. Over to Byron. Down to Hollister. Little further to Monterey. Over and down to Taft. Down to Elsinore. Over to Perris. Across to Cal City. Cross the border to Buckeye. Southeast to Coolidge. Down to Eloy. Continue on to Marana. And good luck making it to your final destination! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
