I mean let's just do it and be first to recognize that we with leftie brains are on the losing team. Maybe when we are serfs in the right wing Kingdom we'll all get 40 electric powered RC airplanes to keep us calm. For sure scant few of us, as history shows, will rise up to be taken away in the first few rounds. Biden has a great economy and US citizens are doing well yet he is dropping in the polls because inclusiveness is a losing proposition these days. It's not the economy, stupid. It's brown people, stupid. Because we will never be okay tossing our equal brothers and sisters under the bus,and we don't know how to be mean, we are toast.

FWIW, it seems that abuse is targeted based on the popularity, rather than the merits, of the stance of one poster or another.  Not very compelling.

You make an excellent point. On the other hand, in just one recent thread, you said that people who disagreed with you on the topic in question haven’t been paying attention, are a waste of time to talk to, are impervious to evidence, have weak reading comprehension, have questionable sanity, are lost causes, have poor values, and represent the idea that stupidity is the only inexhaustible natural resource.

 

So I would point out that there’s a saying about specks, planks and eyes, but I guess I’m too stupid to know what it means.

Sometimes the views go along with attitude. Yes, people with more diaagreements get disagreed with more, and some of our members use a rather confrontational style. But if you’ll notice, some of the conservative members are far less likely to get dogpiled. My theory is that it’s because they treat everyone with equal respect, and use what’s in the online conversation to continue it, rather than trying for setups they can then respond to with a “gotcha!”

Proof?....Proof?  Allegations are the only message necessary. Court convictions of rape? Mean another opportunity to raise cash and gain support. Because the courts are a part of the deep state.

Colorado court ruling barring trump from a presidential run. More proof of a deep state and more cash donations are necessary to fight dems and their anti-freedom agenda.

Why would a strong right wing capitalist supporter consider taking an unpaid position such as this? It would involve serving his fellow man for free and smacks of the worst excesses of socialism. Thank you Joe, but I don’t think I would cut it as a SC moderator. As a libertarian and free speech advocate, I would allow for the rough and tumble exchange of opinions and ideas. I would never ban someone for describing the attributes of an EV (or an AR)  I would even allow the small minded name calling, as it reveals the weakness of the name-callers position. If all one can do is call someone a troll, one’s sauce is weak indeed.

Got MAGA? Where's the ample evidence of Biden wrong doing? Is it that his dog bites and his wife likes tap dance? Was his high crime and misdemeanor an ostensible bit of plagiarism in college? Letting his kid pay back a small loan? Any claims of wrong doing by Biden have been either baseless or stupid to discuss, especially in comparison to Tumps well documented actual crimes. I thought you were better than that.

Go for it, give us your no brainer plan for securing our borders. Tell us how you would do it, who you would do it to, and how you would pay for it. That's just for starters, so don't be surprised if the impossibility of your solutions generate a few more questions. The other two points I'll ignore. For sure you would drill for oil wherever it can be extracted, by any means and at any cost, because FUN! and and snowflake concerns be damned. That, and you have shown in spades already that you believe any investment in science that doesn't pay off in 15 minutes is a silly waste of money. So please ignore those two and just give us your secure borders plan.

Reinstate the remain in Mexico policy, require asylum seekers to apply at the U.S. embassy in their home country, eliminate sanctuary enclaves and listen to the border patrol agents when they request physical barriers to be placed where they are needed. (Not the Trump wall).  If Hungary can do it why can’t we?

OTOH we could just continue to transport illegals to sanctuary cities like we are doing now and listen to the sweet sounds of Democrat mayors howling.
