Traveled to multiple locations for campaign events and then off to Washington he returned. Damn thing is on the way home I had to spend nearly an hour in a gas line to put a few gallons in the car to get home. Was a great year and learned a lot. He was a 'nuc' in the Navy and really understood nuclear power and how reactors worked. He understood leadership and responsibility too (unlike the current occupant of the office). But (again) he didn't understand deception and lying and taking advantage of an opponents weak points. So he was vulnerable to it."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." This was compounded by appointing people he knew well, to top positions. Now since the only people he knew were officials from Georgia, this had the adverse effect of filling his administration with even more people who did not know how Washington worked. 2. Being a micromanager who got too caught up in details when he should have just delegated.
