shermanator 3 #1 May 19, 2008 wow. just wow. It is getting out of hand where officers are firing on people and killing them, when less lethal force IS available. heck, even a blow to the guys head with a baton to knock him unconcious probably would have worked. and just before this one, there were a couple cops in LA that shot and killed driver in car, because they heard gunfire somewhere around them, and assumed it was that car. police abusing their power is getting way way out of hand. http://www.examiner.com/a-1397071~Man_fatally_shot_by_Long_Beach_officers_during_struggle.htmlCLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #

As for the story? In a couple of weeks, once all the facts are finaly put out there I will pay attention. Until then? Why does your post.. yet again.. not surprise me...you are indeed a man out of your proper time.United States Holocaust Memorial Museum The version inscribed at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. reads: First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out - because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak for me. Some of them indeed are evil men... and need to be watched very closely to prevent abuse of the great power they have been given Then again.. some people are always just fine with living in a police state. downwardspiral 0 #11 May 19, 2008 I saw this on the news yesterday and was shocked. I was thinking if two cops have to resort to shooting an unarmed man to subdue him then they have no business being cops. The second article linked leads me to believe one of the two cops was female. I wonder which pulled the trigger. www.FourWheelerHB.com

QuoteWitnesses have called Saturday night's fatal police shooting of a 46-year-old an unwarranted attack on an unarmed man as he lay face down on a sidewalk, disputing officers' accounts. … Witnesses on Sunday said Su'e didn't fight the police. He had just left a birthday party when the officers got out of their car with batons drawn, struck him in the leg, then Tasered him until he was face down on the sidewalk. Then one officer shot him in the back five or six times, witnesses said.Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

shermanator 3 #18 May 19, 2008 I normaly side on the side of the police. but it seems that recently, there have been instances where the police are in the wrong, at first glance, this defidently appears that way. 180 lbs is a lot, but not that much. Two officers should be able to subdue someone of that weight/size.CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #

friendstersux 0 #24 May 20, 2008 We can only wait and see if these officers will be charged with a wrongful shooting. If not, there was not enough evidence to say that the officers reacted recklessly. A man holding a baton is armed not unarmed.Don't say no to drugs, say no thank you!
