I just drove past my local Home Depot

Recommended Posts

30 Mexicans standing in a semi huddle out front. Gauaran FUCKING T not a one had a green card. Every time I talk to a cop they want my fuckin ID. WTF. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know they are illegal. Pisses me off. ARRGHHh>:(

I drive by two sites like that every day. Scores of Mexicans standing around. Don't dare pull in and stop, or they'll surround your vehicle like rats, looking for day labor work.

Houston:
1) Home Depot at Beltway 8 and Bellaire.
2) Long Point one block east of Gessner.

I don't understand why Home Depot allows this on their property.

And I don't understand why Immigration doesn't raid the darn places.

I guess they're too busy searching people's shoes at airports...

This has never happened to me. Don't get all pissed off at the illegals, what about the people that hire them. It's simple supply and demand. There is demand for cheap labor and the illegals supply it.

I go to a Home Depot like that all the time. That's never happened to me.

Oh well, that couldn't possible be true then. I guess I just imagined seeing that dozens of times here in Houston. Never mind.

I just said it never happened to me. And apparently it hasn't happened to several other posters in similar situations.

Guess you don't go to Home Depot much. This in So. Cal. Moreno Valley. The fuckers , as John said will surround your truck and try to start jumping in the back. You really need to get out there and see the truth.

Other mysteries about Home Depot:
* why don't they check your zoning permits
* why don't they ask to see your electrical / plumbing / etc licensing
My advice is to do what your parents did; get a job, sir. The bums will always lose. Do you hear me, Lebowski?

Go there all the time. The one closest to the drop zone (Chula Vista) has such a crowd. They don't seem to bother anyone. People who want to hire them drive up to them.

>You really need to get out there and see the truth.

You really need to stop seeing people you don't know as "fuckers."

> The OUTRAGEOUS thing lately is some cities in California are REQUIRING
> Home Depot to build "Day Laborer Centers" when they build new stores.

I think that's a great idea! Provide some shade, a sign-in area where you can sign up for a given job (or see what tradesmen are there) and an INS officer.

Illegals irk me too, but how come there's never a similar crowd of white welfare recipients willing to do such work?

Blues,
Dave

Why should they? They get a 'regular paycheck' to do nothing, from welfare. At leastwise, illegals send roughly 28-billion U.S. dollars annually back to Mexico.

You need to get others in your area, as well as yourself, to bombard the Border Patrol with telephone complaints until they do something about it.

Houston has no zoning. That is why housing is cheaper here than other cities. And why would HD care about trades licenses?

I do not know about other cities, but in Houston, an HPD cop cannot legally ask a person if they are illegal.....yea, really odd!
