bigway 4 #1 December 6, 2004 ok i just read through these lyrics, i am not a eminem fan but these lyrics are pretty powerful. I am thinking eminem is a massive star with a huge audience of teens. these are the words the teenagers are listening to and i think they are fantastic. We have a bad ass rapper here and he is rapping words that people should actually listen to. Ok, so all the bush supporters are going to now tell me it is rubbish, fine, i have heard it all before and there is no point to repeat it as the argument is over. I have posted this for the anti bush supporters to read so all you who love bush, that is cool but no reason to start going on again. I just think these lyrics are quite good and want to share them with people who do not support bush. Stomp, push, shove, mush, Fuck Bush, until they bring our troops home (c'mon) [Chorus] Imagine it pouring, it's raining down on us Mosh pits outside the oval office Someone's tryina tell us something, Maybe this is god just sayin' we're responsible For this monster, this coward, That we have empowered This is Bin Laden, look at his head noddin' How could we allow something like this without pumping our fists Now this is our final hour Let me be the voice in your strength and your choice Let me simplify the rhyme just to amplify the noise Try to amplify the times it, and multiply by six... Teen million people, Are equal at this high pitch Maybe we can reach alqueda through my speech Let the president answer a higher anarchy Strap him with an Ak-47, let him go, fight his own war Let him impress daddy that way No more blood for oil, we got our own battles to fight on our own soil No more psychological warfare, to trick us to thinking that we ain't loyal If we don't serve our own country, we're patronizing a hero Look in his eyes its all lies The stars and stripes, they've been swiped, washed out and wiped And replaced with his own face, Mosh now or die If I get sniped tonight you know why, Cause I told you to fight. [Chorus] And as we proceed, To Mosh through this desert storm, In these closing statements, if they should argue Let us beg to differ As we set aside our differences And assemble our own army To disarm this Weapon of Mass Destruction That we call our President, for the present And Mosh for the future of our next generation To speak and be heard Mr. President, Mr. Senator Do you guy's hear us...hear us...[laughing] (Hailie) .Karnage Krew Gear Store . freethefly 6 #8 December 6, 2004 You have got to be kidding!!!!! To think that asswipe (c)rapper has anything to say is asinine. You want true songs about peace and goodwill towards your fellow humans, check out John Lennon or Bob Dylan. The songs they wrote will be listened to for many a generations to come. Eminem will fade away never to be heard from again. Good riddence."...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." miked10270 0 #12 December 6, 2004 OH, Ii just read through these lyrics, i am not a eminem fan but I did wonder if his version of "Jingle Bells" would be a runaway success? Lyrics (so y'all c'n sing along: (Parody of Parody of Jingle Bells) (Yo Yo) (Jingle bells, jingle bells, jinglin’ all the way, Oh what fun it is to ride from Detroit to East LA) Is this a white Christmas, Hell no my man, I’m leavin’ blood in the snow And smackin’ fat men You mean Santa? That boys’ a bitch He caught my mom Christmas Eve and tried to give her a kiss For real, he’s no joke, the guy don’t play He tried to ride way more than a one- horse sleigh Laughin all the way, but he’s not laughin’ today We’ll jingle more than hisbells Even the elves will pay Come Christmas Eve, Ol’ Nick’s a gonner We’ll be snackin’ on deer, Eatin’ Blitzen and Donner Not a question of when not even a maybe Have a drunk Miss Claus “Say they jinglin, baby!” givin’ new meaning to “Ho ho ho” Shake that ass girl bumpin’ booty in the snow So watch out Santa, you jolly old troll We’ll be strippin’ that sleigh And leave you the coal (Jingle bells, jingle bells, jinglin’ all the way, Oh what fun it is to ride in a drop-top Chevrolet Jingle bells, jingle bells, jinglin’ all the way Oh what fun it is to ride from Detroit to East LA) You playin’ reindeer games? Hell, yeah my friend… Grab Rudolph’s horns and see how far they bend When his nose turns red His ass gets sent back out to the woods with his faggy elf Randall Santa Claus wouldn’t list me as nice, In fact he’ll have me listed as naughty twice, Not cause of the fights or Christmas gift heist But because of all the nog got left on his wife It’s time for Old Nick to move and retire Before we roast his nuts on a big ass fire Yes I’m that bad Yes I ‘m that crude I mean your ass is huge Lose weight for real dude’ All the cookies in your mouth, Simply quite sick I mean, when’s the last time you seen your dick? I don’t to throw a fit, and I’m not one to bitch, But every year, I get underwear, socks and shit. (Jingle bells, jingle bells, jinglin’ all the way, (Check it out, Jingle these bells, baby) Oh what fun it is to ride in a drop-top Chevrolet (Yeah, you know what I’m saying, I am gonna bring to you, blow it out, word up, like this, like this) Jingle bells, jingle bells, jinglin’ all the way Oh what fun it is to ride from Detroit to East LA) (Jingle bells, jingle bells, jinglin’ all the way, Oh what fun it is to ride in a drop-top Chevrolet Jingle bells, jingle bells, jinglin’ all the way Oh what fun it is to ride from Detroit to East LA) 'N' of course the link: http://www.bobrivers.com/audiovault/tunes/tunes.asp?Var=W http://www.bobrivers.com/player/player.asp?atype=tunes&ID=487&Speed=2 Mike. AggieDave 6 #14 December 6, 2004 QuoteBecause he is pro-peace. A lot of people get very worked up over politics Ahhh, he's anti-freedom for Iraqis. Atleast he's only a singer, people who believe his opinions for who he is aren't actually smart enough to do anything about it and generally get distracted on the way to the polling place by a shiney object. That's why MTV's Rock the Vote backfired. The large majority of people who believe what the rock stars/movie stars/rap stars say about politics either A) don't vote or B) are much smaller in numbers then previously estimated.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Quotes used because the cost of this present to the Iraqis is extremely expensive for them. (not to Dave) If you reject something that you hear simply because it comes from someone you disagree with, then you stand a good chance of looking like an idiot eventually, because you're not thinking independently. No one is wrong all the time, and if you assume someone is (or right all the time), then you've given up your judgement. AggieDave 6 #17 December 6, 2004 Ah Wendy, it was a joke. Things get coined "anti-" or "pro-" I like to turn them around for humor. Sort of like instead of "pro gun control" its "anti gun rights" get it? Or instead of "pro-choice" its "anti-baby's life" or "pro-baby-execution." It cracks me up when it really pisses off people who believe in those things and they loose their temper on DZ.com.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AggieDave 6 #22 December 6, 2004 So what you're saying is that country music stars are more intouch with the majority of the country's feelings? 3 million in majority... hehe.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." billvon 2,416 #23 December 6, 2004 > So what you're saying is that country music stars are more intouch . . . Wasn't really trying to say who's 'in touch' with who's feelings. A few more lyrics: ------------------------------ I sit in and dwell on faces past These memories seem to fade No color left but black and white And soon will all turn grey But may these shadows rise and walk again With lessons truly learnt When the blossom flowers in each our hearts Shall beat a new found flame Must we take a life that hateful eyes Might glisten once again? And then we find ourselves in the same old mess Singing drunken lullabies ----------------------------------- Folks have got to make choices And choices got to have voices Folks are basically decent, conventional wisdom would say We read about the exceptions in the papers every day It ought to be second nature, at least, that's what I feel "Now I lay me down in Dreamland" but I know perfect's not for real I thought we might get closer, but I'm ready to make a deal Today it is different, and tomorrow's the same It's hard to take the world the way that it came Too many rapids keep us sweeping along Too many captains keep on steering us wrong It's hard to take the heat It's hard to lay blame To fight the fire While we're feeding the flames ------------------------------------- Hey bartender, over here Two more shots and two more beers Sir, turn up the TV sound The war has started on the ground Just love those laser guided bombs They're really great for righting wrongs You hit the target and win the game from bars 3,000 miles away 3,000 miles away We play the game with the bravery of being out of range ------------------------------------- But I think the most powerful anti-war song I've heard was a Simon and Garfunkel song from 1966, in which they sing "Silent Night" while a radio plays in the background. The radio program is a news report: "In Chicago, Richard Speck, accused murderer of nine student nurses, was brought before a grand jury today for indictment. The nurses were found stabbed and strangled in their Chicago apartment. In Washington the atmosphere was tense today as a special subcommittee of the House Committee on Un-American Activities continued its probe into anti-Viet Nam war protests. Demonstrators were forcibly evicted from the hearings when they began chanting anti-war slogans. Former Vice-President Richard Nixon says that unless there is a substantial increase in the present war effort in Viet Nam, the U.S. should look forward to five more years of war. In a speech before the Convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in New York, Nixon also said opposition to the war in this country is the greatest single weapon working against the U.S. That's the 7 o'clock edition of the news, good night."
