He's commented on it but thats it since its non-offensive for the most part. But with this and him seeing it... its hard to look the other way. I do web filtering as part of my job and I've had to provide proof to HR to fire 6 people this year already. But every since one of those was with porn related pages. Let me explain a bit here... in my building there are about 500 employes, 450 of them have thier Internet locked down to about 15-20 job related sites only. The remaining 50 are management or IT staff. No one else in my building would have access to any porn or any non tech/news/work/other sites becasue I've blocked their access. Its seen as abuse of power if I can look at potential porn and none of the other associates, management or IT staff can. I know a few people around here can't even access DZ.com from work (Skymonkeyone was blocked for a while). Ask any IT geek how costly porn is on thier bandwidth and you'll understand why I've blocked most the non-work stuff (Should see what I do to the email around here...hehehe) My manager was upset becasue the picture was at the bottom of the screen just barely on my monitor (23 inch) and it appeared to be more then just a nipple. From his prospective I could understand it being a full body shot and THAT would be grounds for automatic suspention. From a business/management stand point I could sue for sexual harassment if someone else has a porn pic on screen that I find offensive that they will not remove. So... work can either face a huge lawsuit... or just fire people on the spot. Its easier to fire and deal with it then it is to fight a lawsuit that they would lose anyways.
