If the French don't want to use it, then why force them. It seems that for almost every other English word, they have gone out and thought up a French one. If we are going to have one universal language, can we at least pick a language with logical grammar, spelling, no irregular verbs and NO SILENT LETTERS? I agree with ya there. English sucks to learn. I actually completed all the coursework for my 2nd year of German in 3 weeks. Once you get the different tenses down, its much much easier than English. The unfortunate thing is, the US is not like Europe. I can't just go somewhere to practice. Getting over that ocean is a pain in the butt. I had no place to actually use my language skills.
