This was gonna be a variation of the "Seven/Nine Cell Posse" threads, but I got carried away. (In more ways than one.)

I got two Ti fem rods and screws to hold them still. Plus a dental bridge.

Broke my tib/fib on June 15. Got a brand shiny new titanium rod in the tib. Healing very well, but no jumping until next season .

No metal, but I do have a permanant blue line on my nose that the doctor called a "traumatic tattoo" and it's from a skydiving accident. Can I still be in your club?

Actually I still have screws in my ankle but I had the rod removed from my femur a couple years ago. I couldn't stand the constant pain in the winter from the cold. It's much better now.

Some one put a beer bottle top on my beach chair at the dropzone once, I sat on it wearing nothing but shorts. I now have a nice little scar from the ridges. That's the only metal I have from skydiving.

I'm in the metal leg club! Would rather not be, but actually it was a damn good thing I broke my leg when I did!

I just wish that the doc would have done a bit better of a job than leaving me an inch taller on one leg! Oh well, I guess for the rest of my life I can claim to be an inch taller than I am - and when they want proof - I'll just put more weight on the one leg!!

have a plate and 5 pins in my right anckle, was jumping within 6 weeks with my cast. I won a PD canopy of my choice at the Skydive Chicago Winter Expo '01, chose a stiletto, was swooping when I shouldn't have been!
