Not how you normally picture the beach...

Ever been to the beach in the winter?

It looks soo weird seeing snow in place of sand! Since some of you are lucky enough to have beautiful beach weather year round:P I figured I'd show ya what the coast of Long Island can look like mid-winter.

I attached a few, but you can see some more if you click here.:)

I've seen it in New York before, but it still amazes me to see snow on the beach. I AM easily amazed, however. :P

Edited to add: Beautiful pics, by the way.

Don't know about a foot and a half of snow, but 2 inches of ice and 4 inches of snow made for a pretty fun landing. Just be sure to give yourself some extra room to slide before any obstacles B|
