Sheenster303 0 #2 May 16, 2005 Even though I still live at home and my parents pay the food at the house, I rarely eat at home. I say I spend about 10 -15 bucks a day.I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #
d_squared431 0 #3 May 16, 2005 It depends on if you add alcoholic beverages in that amount. Deedy
RkyMtnHigh 0 #4 May 16, 2005 Maybe $50/week...raw veggies, spaghetti sauce, noodles, mushrooms...that pretty much covers it. _________________________________________

sunshine 2 #7 May 16, 2005 Well i think i was spending around $50ish for just me. Anyhoo, i asked because i'm starting this and it's $98/wk. So i was curious if it was super expensive compared to what most people spend on food. I know 3 people at SDC that are using this and they've lost weight and look great. Plus the thought of fresh meals is quite appealing. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
Icon134 0 #8 May 16, 2005 $150/week for me... maybe $70/month for my dog (with treats and edible toys...)Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
mailin 0 #9 May 16, 2005 So all your meals are made for you? Thats a great deal! Not having to cook is a great thing! I liked my diet last year - didn't have to cook for 2 meals a day - not having to work or plan food can really work! Good luck! weegegirl 2 #12 May 16, 2005 I usually spend about $30 at Whole Foods for lunches and stuff. Then about another $30 going out to dinner once or twice.
kelel01 1 #13 May 16, 2005 Oooooh! Is the food good? That's a lot less expensive than Gourmet Perfect, which is like $35 a day.
eeneR 1 #14 May 16, 2005 I know a few people who have actually done that, and other then the portion sizes being kind of small, they said the food was actually very good. skydiver30960 0 #15 May 16, 2005 Me and the lady roll in at around $150 a week for everything. That includes non-eating stuff like detergent and plastic bags, but doesn't include the occasional foray into town for a restaurant visit. Looks like a good program; damn, no distributors in Virginia. The only problem I'd have with the program would be that if I DID eat out for whatever reason, I'd come home, see that expensive-as-hell meal sitting in the fridge and think about how it'd just go to waste, and end up eating it too... freeflir29 0 #17 May 16, 2005 Lets see............I have been in Baghdad for a little over a month now. I bought a Whopper over at Burger King once. Those are $5.25. Ummmm.........I bought a 12 pack of Cokes for $1. A bottle of Bacardi for $20 and spent $3.00 on a box of Graham crackers to go with the 10+ lbs of honey I got from the Iraqi Prime Minister the other day. So that's $29.25 in the last month. I like SOME things about living in Iraq.

skycat 0 #19 May 16, 2005 $150 to $200 per week for 2 people. I'm trying to get better with the whole eating out for lunch thing. I probably drop $50 a week just doing that. Fly it like you stole it!
livendive 8 #20 May 16, 2005 I don't like to think about it...probably around $200/week on average (1 person), including coffee but not including alcohol. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
Slappie 9 #21 May 16, 2005 Good question sunshine. Ya know I've never really tried to calculate it. After some figgerin and cypherin. I think I came up with $200 for 3 people. That included beer, it does not include eating out. We buy alot of stuff at Sam's and try to be frugal with food. Not alot of snacks in the house. Mostly sit down meals type of food. 2 adults & 1 8yo who eats as much as me. lawrocket 3 #23 May 16, 2005 Probably 150 per week for three of us. I DO wish we could find a way to purchase less in bulk vegetables. A whole head of cabbage just is rarely necessary. My wife is hotter than your wife.
masterrig 1 #24 May 17, 2005 About $180.00 every 2-weeks. (2 - people) Lots of veggies, very little red meat and fish. OH! Can't forget the doggie food (2 - of the little critters!) Very few snacky type foods. Try to eat healthy.Chuck
