1863 2 band enfield

Are you sure it's from Afganistan?
They were first issued to the 93rd British Highlanders in early 1854 prior to their deployment to the Crimean peninsula. (Balaclava? Charge of the light brigade? The noble 600?) To the best of my knowledge they were never deployed to Afganistan.

But I may be wrong..

1 a bunch of pistols.

2 a Sterling MK4 submachine gun

3 a MAC11A1 .380 submachine gun

4 an M16

5 a couple other rifles and shotguns

6 a bunch of .22 rifles

I had three suppressors but the sherriff won't sign off on them where I live so I had to sell them.

Because it's easier dealing with the recoil than on the Mac 10?

With that Rate of fire - even relativly anaemic rounds do lots of damage if you can put them where you want them..

That little MAC was the first machine gun that I bought about 5 years ago. It is ok to shoot but not real easy to hit stuff with. I don't shoot it anymore since I got my Sterling. I can hold the Sterling like a Pistol and put a whole magazine into a pizza box at 25 yards. I would say that the slowfire converted MAC 11/9s are the most controllable MACs.

I think their only mil use was in Vietnam

You will still find them in some arms rooms around the US Army... for whatever reason, when my Infantry Battalion was deploying to Somalia they took them away... Some units still have them for entry teams, SRT, Rangers, etc.

It is a better gun than the POS Mossberg "Military Model"

As for your original question... I used to have an FFL, so they are on a list somewhere anyway

Benelli M3
HK USP
Glock
SA .45
AR-15 Carbine (pre-ban)
Colt .38 Super Auto
Pre-ban AR-15 receiver (can decide what I want to build on it yet)

Used to have...
Sprinfield M1A
Rem 700 Police Sniper
HK SP89
Ruger 10/22
Rem 870 w/fold over stock
SW 3000 12ga

Mossberg.....That's the name I was trying to think of. In Vietnam some soldiers took with them a weapon or two that might not have been standard issue. I heard of some packing a private side arm of their own choice. I talked with one guy who even accumulated a Thompson machine gun (in country). The hard part was trying to get out of country with that weapon. Everyone wanted to bring home an AK-47. Usually it was real hard to sneak one out. I was never in Vietnam, but used to B.S. with lot's of guys who went......Steve1

Many soldiers in extended conflicts do this. Logistics break down. Ammo is redistributed. Nice to have your own back-up. Mossbergs cut down really well to 4 shot pieces with a pistol grip if you're prepaired to carry one up. I guess all pumps would - but Mossbergs are cheap. As a back-up when you may be wounded and things are up close, I'd imagine they make good kit. You end up carrying so much shit anyway another 3lgs is worth it if you need it.

Russian military weapons (from times when I was young and stupid and lived in woods with my green beret brothers;)):
______________________________
AKC-74 (5.45 mm, my favorite machine gun)
AKM (7.62mm machine gun)
PKMS (7.62 mm heavy machine gun)
SVD (7.62 mm sniper rifle)
SKS (7.62 mm rifle)
RPG
PG (Koster)
PM (9 mm pistol)

Other hand guns:
_____________________
22.'s
Glock's
S&W's
Colts
Magnums
Berettas
Desert Eagle (50 calibre)

Bunch of hunting rifles (don't like hunting anymore)

Used to use all of them. Use to be good with some of them. Do not owe any of them. There is no need to have a weapon if you are not a soldier or police officer. That's my life phylosophy. ;););)

OK... so I don't stack up to many posters in this thread but I'm only 23; I've got time to build my own arsenal. In the order I purchased them:

CZ-75B, 9mm semi-auto pistol. 3 15rnd mags 1 20rnd.

Glock 21, 45 ACP semi-auto postil. 2 13rnd mags, 2 10rnd.

Remington 870 Synthetic Express 12 ga shotgun.

Post-ban AR-15 (Bushmaster, 16" barrel). 2 40rnd, 5 30rnd, 1 10rnd mag. Unfortunately most of the mags don't work for crap because of bad springs. I probably have 3 good 30rnd mags.

Egyptian AK-47 (post ban but still has a pistol grip). 2 30rnd mags.

Soviet m44. This one's neat. Made in 1946, locked away in a crate for years and I 'm the first person to shoot it. 7.62x54mm rounds. I paid a bit much for it (USD 130) but it's still a bargain. Load of fun and has a bayonette.

It's time to get another one (been about 6 months)... just don't know what to get next. Me thinks a Glock 26.
