So! What kind of treats are you handing out to the trick or treaters?

I always hand out chocolate. That way, if there are leftovers, I get a treat too!

Incidentally, if you are concerned about handing out treats that promote tooth decay, I read somewhere that it is actually better to give out chocolate than sticky food like granola bars or peanut butter crackers. Yea, for chocolate!

I suppose if I can find some small versions of these http://www.hersheys.com/extra-dark/home.asp I might be inclined to hand out candy but otherwise its a bit of a hassle with Karma barking the entire night, leftover candy that I shouldn't be eating, etc... and thus I generally don't give out candy...

One probably got a bruised hand last night

Offered the bag to a lad and he grabbed as big a handful as he could so I squeezed it really tight til he let go and told them that if they were gonna be silly they wouldn't have any. I personally gave one to the smallest who was about 4 and then shut the door. Greedy older fuckers aint getting anything off me! No parents either, just left to roam the streets. When I were a nipper, my older brother got roped into escorting me and we only knocked on doors of people we knew, neighbours, friends of the family etc, not everyone! >:(

No but it was a sunday night so the kids were out, one group of them said they were going away for halloween so thats why they were doing it now.

As usual what is a one evening event becomes a week long pain in the arse. Much like bonfire night, new years etc...

Why can't people just celebrate things when they are supposed to be celebrated? [:/]>:(
