My new Harley

Recommended Posts

that's cool, customizing a bike can be pretty fun, get yourself the custom chrome catalog and you'll be hooked...

the last bike I had was a 93 Wide Glide that was pretty decked out, old school chopper style. It had large ape-hanger bars, straight pipes, jetted carb... there really wasn't much of anything stock on the bike when I got it...

have fun and watch out for the morons on the road;)

Loverly Bike (I love my Sporty)...

But why is it taking so long to be delivered? (seems like a long time to wait)

.

Now that I've made the deal its an eternity >:(

Thats not a bad wait though. Some folks have to wait a lot longer than 4 weeks. This is the only one they have coming in in the colors and options I want and June 10 is just the date its secheduled to come :-)

Its gonna be a long 4 weeks :-)

Nice!

I guess all of this talk and Malachi's FatBoy finally got under your skin, eh?

Now you're gonna spend another $2k on new pipes, remapping your fuel curve, sissy bar, highway bar...well, you know.:D

Good site, good prices and good customer service.;)

THe only style worth getting is the Heritage.
I love the FAT BOY. (but, sissy bars on that?= blasphamy!)
32 years of riding and "I wanna get sissy bars" has never happened.

More than you know ;)

I'd been planing to buy a Fat boy for a couple years, but had not planned to go ahead with the purchase for another year or so.
It wasnt just the threads here, but they definitely contributed to the schedule change :D

Thanks for the link :)

Yeah I know ;)

My wife has accepted this purchase with good grace and is even excited for me, but all things considered I think I'd better wait another year or so before I start tweaking it B|

No reason to wait a year before you start, just start adding very slowly so she does'nt see a big change! "What, that ol' thing? It's always been like that!;):)

If the Heritage (line of bikes)Softail is the only style worth getting, how can you love the Fat boy?

The Heritage NOSTAGIA is the ultimate for me.
but, the Fat boy is still being made and has the same lines of design:)

Noice! You lucky dawg:P You've only got a coupla weeks to wait.

I have two Harley's ('02 Low Rider and '03 Heritage Classic) both took about eight MONTHS :o for delivery. I LOVE having two; the Low Rider is awesome for cruising around town, and the Softail just rocks for the long haul - drove it to San Diego and back last June B|. So, forget about customizing and save up for number two instead!! :P;):ph34r:
