Angelina got her ass kicked!

Maybe she'll think twice before talking back to her husband next time.:o:D

Quote

There's only one black eye, so I guess Brad only had to tell her once.

Quote

Look harder there chief. She got both eyes and the lip (probably for trying to talk while the men were talking).

Quote

You know I actually thought about this too. I'm guessing she probably asked Brad if she could leave the kitchen long enough to go vote.

Quote

Well that would have been ok, but she didn't blow him first.

Quote

Looks to me like she needs to get on her knees and "start apologizing".

What about beating or abusing a woman do you find "funny"?

It's not witty.

Ok, knock it off. I don't want my simply amazing photochop thread (:D) to be deleted because it becomes an argument over some jokes.

If that is your intent, perhaps you should direct your "knock it off" comments to the individuals making "creepy" and "nauseating" tacit endorsements of abuse?

>ood lord people, it's not a chop of domestic violence, it's more like a

No problem with that, but the comments along the lines of "she didn't know when to shut up!" are creepy.

Et tu Brute? :S

So to sum it up:

Fake picture of violence against a woman created by a woman - OK.

Joking comments by men about said fake picture - Not OK.
Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting
If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.

Well there is always the de-nutting in the middle of the night for abusive types.

Or (as happened with a cousin and her husband) sew him into the bed and beat the shit out of him with a cast-iron skillet... :)

Absolutely! What . . . didn't you know about the double-standard rule?

Works well for culture, race, and heritage differences too.

Mickey Mouse is dead
Got kicked in the head
Cos people got too serious
They planned out what they said
They couldn't take the fantasy
Tried to accept reality
Analyzed the laughs
Cos pleasure comes in halves
The purity of comedy
They had to take it seriously
Changed the words around
Tried to make it look profound
The comedian is onstage
Pisstaking for a wage
The critics think he's great
But the laughter turns to hate

Mickey Mouse is on TV
And the kids stare at the screen
But the pictures are all black and white
And the words don't mean a thing
Cos Mummy's got no money
And daddy is in jail
He couldn't afford the license
She can't afford the bail, no

The kids out in the road
Their minds have all gone cold
Cos Mickey Mouse is dead
They shot him through the head
With ignorance and scorn
They believed in something new
They read the papers, watched the films
And thought they knew the truth

Look what you've done to Mickey Mouse

But reality deceives
Whatever you believe
There's always another idea
And theirs is based on fear
The fear of being sussed
For what they really are
The fear of being laughed at
When they go too far

They call it paranoia
You can't laugh it away
Until you come to realize
Everyone's the same
People hide their problems under faces of contempt
They hide 'em, till it kills 'em, and no one is exempt
Not even you

Look what you've done to Mickey Mouse
1, 2, 3, 4, look what you've done to Mickey Mouse
1, 2, 3, 4, can't you even laugh it away

I didn't create the image to show domestic violence so I'm not seeing how it's a double standard.

Wait - was that sarcasm?:o

Does that mean you weren't irreperably harmed by the jokes and humor above?:o

You mean . . . You got the jokes?:o

I may just have to rethink my opinion of women now.:|

The comment was for violence against women. Not domestic violence. So it does fit.

Huh, so getting in a catfight fight with another woman is the same as getting beat up by Brad Pitt for not making a sandwhich (which is what was being "joked" about)?

Gotcha.

Posting an intentionally inflammatory picture making fun on someone's religion in the SC is ok, and if you get offended you need to lighten up.

Cracking jokes about an obviously doctored photo of a celebrity is unforgiveable and means we're all insensitive.
Yeah, there's a double-standard.:S

The best things in life are dangerous.

It does when you take into account the ludicrity of the reactions.
