OK, with most of the shopping done last night, I suppose I can brag without jinxing it. TheStepchild and I are picking up Minka tomorrow morning (name not written in stone till we've had her a few days, but pretty sure). I've been wanting a puppy for quite awhile now, and the time is right...only one more day and I'll be squishing her face.

She is gorgeous!

There is a fairly large dog park by the house - on our nightly walk route - and each night we see some of the most beautiful breeds... makes me want one sooo bad - DAMN allergies! (I played with a Great Dane last saturday and no reaction.)

Think she might be a little spoiled? Oh, and I bought a new Canon XTi last week. Given that I won't be flying it till next year, I probably should have waited, but the prospect taking pictures of the new pup was too tempting for me to resist.
