True hefs:

Pyramid Hefeweizen
Live Oak hef
Victory Brewing Sunrise
Firestone Walker hef (important note - Firestone Walker does not make any bad beers)
Grand Teton Howling Wolf hef

Some wheat beers you might like: (very similar but not "true" hefs)

Lost Abbey Witch's Wit
Avery White Rascal
St Bernardus Witbier
Brooklyn Brewing - Blanche de Brooklyn

Try yuengling(probably spelled wrong) its the oldest brewery in America and a damn tasty beer!

Hands down favorite drinkable beer...too bad you can only get it on the east coast (and you spelled it right;))

I don’t care for the Yuengling Lager that has made them famous. I do like some of their other choices though.

Go to Germany, they have some DAMN good hefe... ahh memories. :)

Also, don't try to drink too much of it at once, its VERY filling!

Nope, we had it in Tennesse all the time. Our fridge in the shop was always stocked.

see it depends where you live. here in colorado there is a micro brewery a stones throw away in every direction (most micro brews in the nation) but if you can get it i would recommend just going out and trying them all you will find exactly what you like me i like Avery's White Rascal

That's the worst frickin part about moving to Texas, no Yuengling, not even the specialty stores.

Back in school we'd head across the street to our bar of choice on Tuesdays for 22oz Yuenglings for $2. Great stuff.
