I am in the military. 1 of my firends that i used to be stationed with is in italy. one of the guys who is stationed there(whom Ive just met) is on temporay duty here to support some training missions. My friendI have asked Sean if he could bring this to Steve. Sean leaves on friday (he'l take a quick vaca in NY,then he'll go back to Italy) If he remembers to give this to steve it should be a funny Sunofva bitch! Now, for those who haven't been in, every package is opened by the DI in front of the whole platoon. While he was at boot, me and a couple of other friends sent him a box of gay porno. jtval 0 #13 August 14, 2003 I had a buddy sentd me an empty beer bottle and a few fast food wrappers when I was in basic training. the dont open every package in the USAF just those that seemed odd. he packed it well so they let me open it.....the real bitch was getting rid of that shit b4 the TI(DI) found it ! LOL also had an Ex send me pics of herself in a bikini. she was hot! that one was opened by the TI...he asked if the were pics and handed me the closed envelope. I opened it and said..."um yea" he said are the porn. I said "not really" he said should I see them? I said"sure. she's dressed" he said "thats your g/f" I confirmed he said VALENTE!!! lawrocket 3 #14 August 14, 2003 Actually, I think your joke is rather brilliant. The best jokes are the ones with two marks. You are getting a two for one on that one! The military is ripe for making jokes. I had a captain who liked playing jokes on people. His were typically mild jokes. His favorite was hiding hats. My second month (reservist) he hid my hat. I eventually found it in an E-8's desk. The next day, he left his hat unattended, so I went to work. I pulled out a spare 2LT rank and took replaced his bars with it. I put connected the bars to the inside so it would get lost. The E-8 and an E-7 said, "He's gonna know what happened." I said, "Not until he looks for a lieutenant for his hat." Mind you, I was the only LT in the Batallion! It was all brass and hihger NCO's. He spent a solid 45 minutes looking for his hat. He wore it to formation and caught hell from the other captains and majors. The enlisted REALLY let him have it. After formation, he walked inside, noticed the bars inside, and fixed his hat. Then he did something entirely unexpected. He shook my hand and told me he'd get even. Great captain, and a great group of guys. I actually earned a lot of respect for that. I was talking to my father on the phone when the pizza I ordered for dinner came. my father heard me talking to the guy etc and asked where his peice was..... 6 days later he got it in the mail! it was fuzzy and green! he thought he would get even by sending me a slice when I was in korea. I had a sneaky feeling that THAT package was bogus so I gave it to a friend who compliant that he never got mail. he opened it and alomst vomited!
