  1. In the old forum, it kept track of where you were in a topic and took you to the first unread post. Does the new forum not do that?
  2. My 2018 was great! One more year cancer free!! I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

  5. Maybe because I grew up in central Kansas and remember the actual event on the news, but I remember him most for his role as Richard Hickock in the movie "In Cold Blood." I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  6. Why would you come on a public forum that your nephew can access and post your disappointment of him? This could be some of the greatest times in his life and he could grow in maturity and find out what he wants to do with the rest of it. I know the military gave me time to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  7. An elderly couple were at home watching TV. Phil had the remote and was switching back and forth between a fishing channel and the porn channel. Mary became more and more annoyed and finally said, "For God's sake, Phil... leave it on the porn channel you know how to fish!" I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  8. So are you consistent and apply that thinking to any new technology that eliminates a job? Just curious. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  9. I have had Stihls and Huskies. Both are at the top as far as reliability IMHO. If I had to make a choice, though, I would pick the Stihl any day. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  10. The beak makes me think it is some type of falcon. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  11. Probably too much celebrating during World Turtle Day a few days ago. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

Acts 11:26 "...first called Christians in Antioch..." See also Acts 26:28 and 1Peter 4:16 Pfffft, that was written like 1000 years ago! We were talking about the bible - how dare you quote scripture! LOL. My apologies.... I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

*** Well, I don't even think "Christianity" is mentioned in the bible either. Acts 11:26 "...first called Christians in Antioch..." See also Acts 26:28 and 1Peter 4:16 I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  14. If you say no, her safe place will have been invaded and she will be so terrified and panicked that she will no longer be able to function in society. Her entire future is in your hands. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  15. My high school graduating class had 302 people & five sets of twins. Jerry Baumchen My twin grandkids are seniors in a small school that has 434 total enrollment. There are six sets of twins in the senior class. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  16. "The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said a survey using new technology has revealed Denali is 100 feet shorter than previously thought. The last accepted elevation was 20,320 feet, but the actual figure is 20,310 feet." Looks like some journalist should have taken a math class. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  17. Dr. Zhivago is my all time favorite movie. RIP. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  18. I caught four mice in five days with trap baited with peanut butter. My grandson shot a rat in the barn with my 410. Close enough that it blew the rat in half. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  19. Or we could go with Democratic Georgia Congressman Hank Johnson who was concerned that Guam would tip over. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  20. How is that Canada's natural resources belong to the USA? I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  21. I knew that, but essentially the parent is allowing the "child" to do what they want to do whereas and 18 year old is allowed to make an "adult" decision. My father-in-law got in at 14 doing WWII. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  22. "Which is fairly irrelevant to the topic. That 85% are fairly clearly on or near the adult side of the line - from my personal experience Germany would sell beer to nearly all of them. If you trust them with alcohol, clearly you view them as having a level of maturity. Note that we do not and have a drinking age of 21." But we send 18 year olds to war to die, so are you saying we are sending children to war? And I see that in Germany a 17 year old can enlist. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  23. I would like to see someone go through and separate out all of these deaths that are attributed to gang related activity. To me, this study is attempting to blame all children deaths on legal firearms, and I would bet that that is not in fact the case. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
