Woah! I didn't expect that. I have an airbrush and thought about spraying some nice celtic artwork on a rig would look very cool. A simple acrylic fabric paint wouldn't damage anything. I figured maybe I'd just order a white rig and customize it the way I wanted to. OOPS!!! Edit: I'm talking about closing flaps and such. Not the webbing itself.

Two of my favorite things hold alcohol as part of the tradition; skydiving and traditional Irish music sessions. I will still enjoy a quality micro-brewed ale but I don't want to get drunk. Funerals ARE the worst. I only jumped three years but lost 2 friends in that time. Another one I knew died recently in a mid-air collision.

A little background on me. 1. Born in San Francisco in '66 and raised by hippies. I had a VERY liberal upbringing. In grade school, when all my classmates were listening to the Jackson 5, I was lsitening to Pink Floyd, Robin Trower and the Moody Blues. 2. I spent most of my teen years stoned, unfortunately. And I thought John Lennon was a hero. He wasn't. He was just another stoned hippy. 3. I am currently a student AGAIN! This is the third time I've gone to college. The first time for graphic design, the second for digital multimedia and now I'm in a medical lab tech major. I have plenty of education, thank you very much. I remember an individual who once said; "If you're young and vote Republican, you're heartless. If you're old and vote Democrat, you're stupid." Most youngsters are just stupid and have bleeding hearts. But they do grow out of it. Usually. That is all.

I don't propose any method in particular. I'll leave that to the military generals and admirals. I simply stated a fact. I suppose we could burn the Koran, bulldoze the mosques and then get creative! But to be fair, I would draw no distinction between an Islamic extremist who would throw a hand grenade into an Israeli disco and a Christian extremist who do the same to an abortion clinic. Both are terrorists. However, there have been far more grenades chucked into Israeli discos than abortion clinics... if there have been any thrown into abortion clinics at all. I can only remember one sniper attack on a clinic from quite a long time ago. Then there is McViegh(Sp) who blew up the fed building in Oklahoma. After that... gee I dunno... ever heard of a Christian suicide bomber??? I haven't. Yup it subsided after 25 or 30 jumps and eventually got to the point where I'd rather jump than land with a plane. But hopefully it never goes completely away because it'll help keep you alive. You don't want to get complacent about gear checks before you get aboard the plane and a pin check before you jump. No FEAR= bad. Little FEAR= a long skydiving career.

You're right about being a conservative/libertarian. However... I was born into the Mormon church but they were too scary. I was baptised a Catholic. But I haven't been to church in over 20 years. Organized religion annoys me. I'm more into faith and my own interpretation of the bible and not letting anyone else interpret it for me. I do believe Islam is evil and should be iradicated. But that's not gonna happen with so many spineless liberal knuckheads running about so I rarely even think about it.

I can think of a lot of movies that are far worse. "Cutaway" comes immediately to mind. But it was better than Dropzone or Terminal Velocity.
