I'd still jump with you

I move to California. I ask some locals to jump their objects. They show me around and welcome me. I get some freefly coaching, then schedule some tunnel time with the same coach. He doesn't remember me a week later. I buy a wingsuit, do my FFC, and start flying. I'm in line to board the aircraft for my 2nd WS jump and a guy asks me if he can jump with me and take pictures. Every jump i go on with a wingsuit, someone asks if they can jump with me. In turn, after more experience, I ask everyone in a wingsuit if I can jump with them. I'm part of that. With all due respect freeflyers, go fuck yourselves.

I would fumble around looking for it until about 1000 ft above your decision altitude. I couldn't find mine on a jump and didn't pull my reserve until 2000 ft, but only because I lost altitude awareness. Chances are you won't have good altitude awareness when you're frantically looking for your pc, so giving it a couple quick tries is all the time you should take before going for your reserve. Do a solo jump and do practice pulls the entire jump.

I did my FFC with my Swift. I did a lot of jumps in my tracking suit before that, so that may have helped. I thought it was easy.

I think a swift would sell easier. It's easy to fly. The new phantom is coming out soon as well, so that's something to consider.

I just got a PD Storm and have 5 jumps on it. I noticed the brake settings are pretty deep compared to other canopies i've flown. When doing rear riser turns after opening (before i unstow my toggles), it stalls a bit and gets "shakey". My wing loading is about 1.1. I use the canopy for wing suiting and not crew. Should I consider making my brakes for shallow?

Usually the skygods introduce themselves at least a couple times. You'll fit right in.
