  1. I was stationed there and did a handfull of jumps and I specifically remember them telling me they were closed in late december/ early january. Tokyo Skydiving Club is one of the 2 clubs near Tokyo. You can't just walk in there and do a jump, you'll have to contact them and transfer money to them prior to your visit. The landing area was plenty big. Seeing Mount Fuji from altitude is pretty cool, but may not be worth the hassle. Contact the dropzone and they'll reply with a long e-mail explaining what you have to do. Also note, they are closed at the moment because of the recent fatality, so you may not get a quick response.
  2. If you get me roof access, i'll show you how
  3. Yeah buddy, no "cool kids" here in japan!
  4. I go for my first skydive and i see what i did not know about at the time, "fun jumpers". Wow, these guys are here to jump out of an airplane for fun! Fuck yeah! I want to be a part of that. I start my AFF. I see the instructors talking about their fun jumps. I want to be a part of that. I start skydiving at a funjumper friendly dropzone. I see the fun jumpers huddled and talking amongst themselves. I want of be part of that. I keep skydiving. Some funjumpers invite me along. Can i free fly? No, I see the free fliers talking amongst themselves. I want to be a part of that. I travel a lot and jump at different dropzones for fun. I meet old men who like to jump with me. I see the free fliers talking amongst themselves. Why are they not talking to me? 12 dropzones later. I'm on leave and get to skydive with my highschool buddy. I see the fee fliers talking amongst themselves. Why are they not talking to us? Skydive is not available in Northern Japan. I watch BASE jumping videos. I go to Twin Falls to learn how to BASE. Everyone talks to me. Everyone jumps with me. I'm a lonely BASE jumper in Northern Japan. I meet a traveling BASE jumper and we BASE jump 5 bridges in Japan. I meet the most experienced BASE jumper in Japan. We sleep in his house and eat his food, drink his beer. I'm part of that. With all due respect freeflyiers, go fuck yourselves.
  5. It's not urgent. I can wait a week. Thank you for your quick reply!
  6. I know they just came out with a new wingsuit, but do they usually take a few days to reply to an e-mail and do they usually not reply at all after you e-mail an order form to them? This is my situation...
  7. Did you grow up in Russia?
  8. I'm confused why people ask these questions with a perfectly good PAID aff instructor holding on to them.

  14. Stop wasting your money on Tandems. You're not going to learn a thing.

The facilities are beautiful. This is what you picture a dropzone to look like before you ever went to a drop zone. I was hoping the place would be more busy on weekdays.

I took the canopy course, water training, and license exam all in one day. If you got the money, they got the fix!

I'm a fun jumper and didn't have to pay for rental gear and it was very affordable. The King Air has a fucking radio playing while we went to altitude! Holy shit, awesome place!

  23. I did my AFF there and they didn't require any tandem jumps. The landing area is miles wide. After I graduated, I could only jump when tandems were scheduled and it was only solo jumps with no coach jumps provided to me. If I would have stayed there, I would probably never have gotten licensed. They also would jump tandems at only 8,000 feet and I would have to jump at that altitude as well and pay full price, $25. I recommend this place for anyone wanting to learn, but once you graduate AFF, go somewhere else.
