Its a good point, but as I was sayin for years, USPA need some kinda training for a camera flyers as well as they have for some other categories. But some ST&As are so freaked out by the idea of ppl jumpin with a camera that even when U hit 200 jumps they don't let you do it and they don't even tell you what they want you to do. And its pissing me off. Im not gonna point fingers here, but the rule is a rule, I followed it, why cant they???

Storm is very un-agressive canopy, witch is popular between a beginers, old ppl, and wing suiters for soft opening and un-agressive respond... if U wanna swoop the best one to start from is a Sabre-2 with a good wing loading, Sabre-2 can be VERY agressive if needed and can be a nice and smooth glide if U R as well... So if U dont wanna hit a Katana yet, try Sabre-2, call PD, ask 'em for DEMO and pay for S&H. U can jump it for a week, if U need more time, just call 'em up and ask to extend it, no questions asked... Or U can ask for Katana if U want as well... Be SAFE! Im a doctor! Take some canopy flying courses, like Flight-1 or Brian Germains Canopy courses, Basic first, then Advanced, on the Advanced Course they'll teach U how to use your rears and fronts and how to land with 'em, and how to land downwind and crosswind and all other things... VASST-CANOPY CONTROL DVD is VERY helpfull, but I think only for a beginners, maybe some intermediate skydivers, I watched it a lot and practiced all the tricks by myself, then I took a camp from Flight-1 by Ian Drennan, and I learned alot. Discovered alot more specs about my canopy, mistakes I make, etc. But it was alot easier for me to colapse the canopy, and do all this tricks cause I did 'em before, then some other guys didnt even wanna do it cause it was scary... I wish I could get one of those for an advanced canopy flying as well, but they dont exist, as far as I know... Im a doctor! And I prescribe you skydiving, skydiving and more skydiving !!!

Check a vidoes on U-tube about a FLAT packing, all reserves are flat packed, all reserves are 7-cells, the difference is on a pilot chutes and a special tools requiered for different rigs, but flat packing is all the same... Also, if U wanna do it yourself, U may wanna go to a riggers course and learn it... My friend just did it and I may be going someday as well... C U around a DZ... Im a doctor! IDK much about DZs specs, but I learned that every time you go to a new DZ, just open up higher and get used to Canopy Flight in this place, when you got used to it, feel free to do it your way... I have a VASST CANOPY CONTROL CORE ESSENTIALS DVD, I seen it more then once, and I tryed to remember everything that was there, then go to my DZ, and practice... the video is great, but its too much for one jump, or even a whole day on a DZ, but its stil NOT comparable to a CANOPY CONTROL CAMPS!!! I had one last summer, with Ian Drennan, from Flight-1, and I learned waaay more then from anybody else!!! the biggest difference was made by a VIDEOS, he filmed us and then we discussed it in a class, and it made a BIIIG difference in my Canopy Piloting. Ian also told us about our canopy specs, so it was way more then just a 7 or 9 cell and a sizes. If your friends can film your landing and you can see it, will coach you better then just a words !!! EVERY DZ MUST HAVE A CANOPY FLIGHT COACH, SO IF YOU CANT GO TO A FLIGHT-1 CAMP, FIND THAT COACH, AND TAKE A LESSON FROM HIM !!! ALSO, IF YOU REALLY WANT IT, YOU CAN ORGANIZE IT YOURSELF, CALL FLIGHT-1, ARRANGE A PRICES AND ALL, AND TALK TO A JUMPERS AT YOUR DZ AND A DZO, AND GET IT DONE AT YOUR HOME DZ !!! Im a doctor! WOW! U may wanna be carefull with a set up like this... with a size and weight of it, it may drag you outta harness, when U pull the cord... or just break your neck if your wing loading is high enough... Im a doctor! And I prescribe you skydiving, skydiving and more skydiving !!!

I was looking at one in a catalogs, but it was hard to believe that one little thing got so many options, but when my friend let me jump with his Altitrack, and showed me time,speed,alti,etc. I knew it was true, so I got one for myself too. There's a couple of things I couldn't understand in a last couple of years with my Altitrack, but I still LOVE IT, and will recommend it to others! 1.When a plane went down for a 1000 feet, my logbook count it as a jump, which was a bizzare that looked like: exit 12500, opening alti 3500, freefalling 1000feet, freefalling speed 17mph. ??? 2.When I did 5 HOP&POPS in one day the analogue display worked fine, but none of those been logged in. ??? 3.All the hardware, sold separately, kinda pricey and I didn't hear a good thing about them yet... 4.Its a little bulky, so it makes it impossible to pack without taking off your altimeter, so you have to take it off and put it back on 10 times a day...

My AFF was a little sloppy, cause every jump I made was with a different instructor, and the landing area is full of surprizes, which gives you another reason to work on your accuracy!!! The rigging service is a little slow, and you have to go there and get on their asses about it, and it looks like they dont care, and you always have to wait: for food, bathroom, showers, loads... So if you coming here, leave your dogs at home, bring your own gear and be patient, very patient...May have some ups and downs but its my home DZ and I like jumping here, when my dog is not around...

I had my first jump on a brand new FC Sentry canopy, and we been droped away from the DZ, when I opened the canopy and figured where I was, I was sure about making it back to the field, but NOT to the target! I coudnt belive my eyes, when I made it back, completed a landing patern and had a softest landing straight on target in a couple of years of skydiving and dozens of different canopies and sizes I tried through the years !!! And I had it when a couple of more experienced jumpers didnt even made it to the DZ!!! NOW, the bad side of a story. When I ordered it, I selected a colors and all the options I wanted, I discused it with a FC rep and we got some aggriments, then, 6 weeks later, when my order should be shipped, I called 'em up and found out, that nobody even started it yet, and have no idea about my order! Then, 3 days later, Im getting a call from FC, and they telling me that nobody started it yet, cause they dont have a color I ordered in stock, and it will take 'em 3 month to get this color and 6 more weeks to make it! or if I like they can make it in some other colors! I sended 'em a pic. of my container and asked 'em which color will match the best, they e-mailed me a color, and when I got a little concerned about a match, they said its a browsers fault, it destroys the colors, etc. And when I got it,(4 month later!) IT DIDNT MATCH!!! IF IT WONT TAKE 'EM SO LONG TO DO IT, OR BE HONEST ABOUT IT FROM A 1st DAY, I COULD BE A LOT HAPPIER! SO IF U PICK A THIS NICE CANOPY FOR YOUR RIG, DONT BE EXITED ABOUT GETTING IT ON NEXT DAY... YOU BEEN WARNED, USE WITH CAUTION !!!
