Hang in there. Sooner or later they will accept you.

No wind and blue skys. The surf was UP! Got full altitide every load. + a great sunset H&P load from the 206 featuring Vick, Q, Dr. Doolittle, Kieth M, Myself and Shannon. Beer was ready for us in the landing area!
-
Thanks to everyone that came out. 10 Beech 99 loads and 6 cessna loads. The weather cooperated nicely and we were able to get a turbine in, in spite of our KA being down!
-
Well, I've been known to be a maniac

I was out teaching Ground School today. It rained most of the morning. We did get one hop and pop load off about 3pm. Ceiling was at about 4500'. Hey, at least I got to try my new canopy
-
OK, you win.

I agree, that would really be skill. I have a Hornet 190 loaded @ 1.1 and I can do chin ups on the fronts and it still dosen't do much. Guess that's why I going to a [email protected]

Skydance Skydiving is probably the closest turbine dropzone to you. I'd go there if I were you. BTW: I teach at a competing DZ (Bay Area Skydiving) but we are probably another hour from you.

Lots of things you can do. Depends on if you want it to be sucessful or not. Talk to your LO, I'm sure that he/she has a good idea of your ability and the available talent.

Skydiving has higher recurring expenses, esp. if you like to do 500 jumps a year
-
Thanks for thinking about me
-
No idea, sounds like a hot section at least. Good thing is that we can probebly get a caravan from skydance until it's fixed.
-
Dude, let me get this straight. You are involved in quite possibly the most expensive sport in the world and you are complaining about the price of a book that costs less than 2 jump tickets?
-
I seem to be missing all the action. Not that I'd want to be there in either situation. I don't know CPR and I can't fix the airplane. Can you imagine me seeing the plane spewing flame? I would have put a hole in the door
-
Damn, this must have been after I called.
-
How many jumps did you do in your first year of skydiving?
jsaxton replied to andy2's topic in General Skydiving Discussions

-

-

Falling in love is like that first skydive, don't you think?
jsaxton replied to Deuce's topic in The Bonfire
