  1. 7 grams of good weed (not dirty Mexican brick weed), costs 120. But the weed nowadays can do the trick with a hit or two. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."

  3. can i send multiple helmets in and get 30% off for each one? "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  4. you can buy a new dolphin (freeflyfriendly) for $1,000. put a couple hundred jumps on it , then buy a nice new rig when you wont beat the shit out of it. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  5. well im a fat ass, triple digits. i can reach 160 in a hard arch on my belly. i should borrow a protrack and find out for sure. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."

  8. I live in SC, and the closest place I found to jump at 16 was in Memphis, Tennessee. What dropzone in Georgia will allow you to jump at 16? All the ones I've contacted say you have to be 18. aff (accelerated freefall), is where you learn to jump on your own. you have instructors that hold onto you during freefall but you have you're own rig and are in control of yourself. something in the way georgia's laws are written will let a 16 year waiver their rights for solo jumps but not tandem. my suggestion would be to do the tandem in memphis, then when you are able to support your skydiving habit check into aff in georgia. 9. They hire any more skydivers they will probably catch on quick. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  10. I did a tandem jump last year when i was 21. It took me 2 months to save up for the a liscense package, which was unbearable. I wouldn't trade jumping for anything. I feel like I wasted the 3 years that I was eligible to jump and didn't. I know in Georgia you can start aff at 16 with notarized parental consent if you decide to do that. Good luck and have fun "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  11. a loan is a loan, no matter where it comes from. as long as you have an agreement before hand and stick to it, i don't see the difference. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  12. Everyone I have been in freefall with has this flesh flapping thing, except me (I have a beard so the face doesn't flap). Your jumping out of an airplane, not competing in a beauty pageant. Just go with it, and smiling does help (a little). There are a lot more important things to worry about, like staying safe. Where are you doing your aff? Good luck and blue skies "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  13. you could check out a concert. atlanta has a lot of good venues. the masquerade and the tabernacle are great ones. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  14. If the dzo and/or s&ta have given you the green light, then go for it. I would follow the advice of people who know you and your abilities over some Internet opinions. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  15. Relax and smile. the smile will keep your face from flapping as much in free fall. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  16. That the world is fixing to explode with new possibilities. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  17. excellent work! "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  18. my friend was recently put on probation, so she decided to start smoking "spice" because she can no longer smoke pot. of course i tried it. my experiences with it felt nothing similar to the high you get with pot, but if you smoke enough it really fucks you up. i didnt really enjoy it and it tastes like shit. it was made illegal in georgia a month ago. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  19. if you make it up there saturday, get andy to introduce you to me. my name is mitch. blue skies "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  20. skydiving is very mind opening, at least for me. it is the epitome of living in the now. the decisions you make have an immediate effect on whether or not you live or die. this is very empowering. you cant take any baggage into an environment as intense as a skydive. "fuck yesterday, it's the past. screw tomorrow it may never come," kind of rings true. for me it is very therapeutic, it's helped me put things into perspective and i greatly needed that in my life a year ago when i started jumping. good luck and blue skies "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  21. welcome to the forums. you picked a great place to jump, i also jump at the farm. are you going to be up there this friday or saturday? "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  22. idk but that was fucking awesome!!! "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  23. level 1 aff, at 6,000 feet i locked onto my alti, like you are supposed to. then i tried pulling everything on my right side EXCEPT the pilot chute. instructor deployed my canopy after fighting my hand to get to the pilot chute. i was able to go onto level 2 because i was alti aware, but i have never had a problem finding or deploying for myself since. it happens often so dont stress it, learn from it and keep you're eyes on your alti. it doesnt tell you how high you are, it tells you how LOW you are. deep breaths and being relaxed will help you tremendously. good luck and blue skies, mitch "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  24. Its like he lives here... so that makes y'all neighbors right??? "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  25. it builds confidence knowing that if shit gets real when you are low, you are competent and calm enough to bail out. don't stress about your h n' p. if you can, on your next jump, practice you're h n' p exit. 14,000 10,000 and 2,000, same exit. just relax and go with it. blue skies "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
