  1. Thank you guys for all the help and recommendations. I found a complete rig. Cant wait to get it.
  2. Thank you guys for the advice. I will look into that. I made a mistake what i meant by PD is Performance Designs. Sorry about that.
  3. I am searching for a used rig with a Sabre2 or Spectre 230 main complete set up with an AAD and i am having a difficult time finding one. It seems like everyone i look at is either really old or built for someone who is 5'4. So i guess what i am looking for is some help or some direction. Is this that rare of a find?? I hate to buy new for my first rig. Waste a lot of money that i could of used towards jumps and coaching. What i am looking for is something newer in good condition to fit me and I am 6'1 220lbs. Thanks for any help.
  4. I do have to say i owe everything to my instructors who taught me how to react in such occasions. Can't say enough good things about Skydive Spaceland. I am just sad i have to go out of the country and have to take a week off of jumping. Have to pay for those jumps somehow i guess.
  5. Roo is the best instructor. Dont tell Joe though. Hey looks Like I won't be able to come out until the fourth now. I'll call you today. Thanks for all the support
  6. You are right on taking care of the rigger. I talked to him right away. Thanks guys for all of the comments.
  7. Yea, I feel is was awesome to see what training does. I mean it wasn't something i want to happen but when it did i felt like i was ready for it. Still landed all smiles.
  8. So here is what happened. Tuesday this week going through my dive flow #5. Everything going well. Lock on at 6000'. Wave off and pull at 5500'. Parachute opens. Look up to do my three S's and I see a not square parachute. Line over on the right side. Grab toggles to give a few pulls. Parachute goes into a hard spin to the right. I pull done on my left toggle to to balance it out. decide this isn't landable. So do what i was taught cutaway and pull the reserve. Look up to see a wonderful yellow canopy square and flyable. WHAT A RUSH! made it down safely landed in the short grass at the dz. Intructor Helped radio me in. I get done and decide i better get back up there. Go through my video everything looked good so we moved on to the 6th jump. Got back on the plane and had a great 6th jump. Everything thinks i am crazy(nonskydivers). I see it as i took what i was taught and applied and cant wait for this weekend to go again. Plus i owe beer i am pretty sure.
