You'd think I'd learn by now

How is that different from any other teenage guy? How is that different from any male skydiver? Very true, doesnt make the fact that I am 3 years out of high school and this kid is barely a sophomore any less disgusting tho. Or the fact that he's a minor.. I may be young, but I graduated at16 and was technically an adult by 17 by becoming active duty military. Quite frankly, I would much prefer to deal with a too old skydiver hitting on me than a 15 year old boy... That way if I have to use force to make the guy back down I am not facing assault charges or if the man does manage to get me in his bed Im not facing statutory rape charges.

MY dad isnt trying to do anything! Its the kids dad. My dad feels just as I do on the issue. So does my mother.

He reminds me of (a very young) Ted Nugent. LOL, but he is a flyer, not a Musician...I'm very proud of the boy...In this drugged out world, he won't anything to do with it! Thats very awesome, his hair is longer than mine! On a serious note, my parents are very aware that long hair has nothing to do with anything. Im pretty sure if I brought home a great guy with long hair, they would not be against it as long he treats me well and is respectful. Ultimately, thats what theyre looking for. My first boyfriend kept his barely longer than a buzz cut but his manners need work. They couldnt stand him, and after a couple weeks I couldnt either.

No way is he in favor of this!! Like I said earlier, he made sure the guy knew where he could put his suggestion. Hell, I couldnt even date a guy that had long hair in high school, and I still cant bring a long haired boy home . He is all about my well being. ETA: Not saying that long haired boys are against my well being, so please dont take it that way. Those are two separate thoughts... Wait, Im just going to make that a new paragraph.

I've met the kid... He has a MASSIVE ego. He looks good and he knows it. Perhaps after he graduates college, it might work. But I know this kid's father as well, and a huge part of the reason he wants to set him up with me is for the "atta boy" comments. Overall, this isnt a family I really want to associate myself with.

Exactly, my parents are ok with me dating older guys now, but all through high school I didnt even date in my own grade because I was on average 2 years younger than my class mates. My two boyfriends in high school were both in the class below me, and that put us at closer in age.

No I am disgusted that this kids father thinks its appropriate for his 15 year old son to be dating me. How would you feel if your 15 year old brought home a college junior?? I have nothing against an age gap tho. My best friend is 24. but its a lot different to date someone with a four year age gap when youre in your 20s or 30s but not when the gap is a high school to college gap..

I have a Spectre150 and this is EXACTLY how I pack... I am tiny and have small hands so I make sure to use whatever I can to get her folded and in the bag.... It still looks pretty ugly, but it works. Seriously though, and I think someone has mentioned it already, PRACTICE helps. A LOT. When Im bored at night, I'll pull mine down the hallway to practice packing. Good luck!

Here's one for you: Currently seeing a guy that's 3 hours away, but its not a big deal bc I drive that way to jump every weekend anyways... Well, I let him know that in a year, I'll be transferring schools and that the closest I can possibly be is 6 hours away, and that is only IF I get into my first choice school. If not, the drive will be a hell of a lot longer. His response: "Well you're the one that will be doing the driving."

Me too :P People sometimes ask me what that noise is when I'm playing back the footage... I've even had people hear from the ground when I'm coming in for landing Me three! Theres a couple of us that belt out terrible pop music in the jump plane and then everyone else gets to jump with music too, because theres no way those songs will be out of their heads by the time they get to the door Seriously tho, it was the only way I could find to relax in the plane until like the last ten jumps or so....
