  1. Thats going to be an awesome scab to pick off later!
  2. I know Im a baby in the sport, but Ive been there too. My first 6 jumps were rough. They were also during the winter, which Im sure didnt help any. But I was under a lot of stress at the time, and it basically made me bulimic (no i wasnt actually, I am a total foodie and very happy with my weight, I just couldnt keep food down). Anyways, I took a month or so off and got my health in order and finished AFF. I know military docs suck (I was dealing with Navy ones during that time), but some do know what theyre talking about. Its possible you just picked something up while you were deployed and need a bit more rest. Edit to add: and by rough, Im referring to the vomicky/dizzy feeling under canopy.
  3. I was only taught about what to do during a relatively simple canopy entanglement (that is if canopy collisions could ever be considered simple in my new skydiver mind) depending on altitude. This was during ground school, less than a year ago. When topdocker said hearing "I couldn't imagine that happening!!" is never one of those things you want to hear, you can trust that I'm one of those people that didnt think of a spinning malfunction sending me into someone elses canopy and not being able to see my altimeter. I will def be asking more about this when I get to my DZ next weekend.
  4. They are in Lumberton, MS. And they still have kick ass bathrooms. SOOOOO CLEANNNNNN!! (And I'm the type to go through a travel bottle of Purell in a weekend )
  5. You keep them in your CAR?! What do you want it to break? Or does it just not get hot where you live?
