I was declined at a bar in Illinois for not having an Illinois drivers license. They wouldn't accept my Texas DL. It wouldn't have pissed me off that much if they hadn't asked to see all my cards that have my picture or signature on it and then said that my signatures weren't all written the alike. I would have been happier if they just declined me and not wasted my time with going through my wallet.

It sounds like it will make it easier for the flyers and harder for the judges. As one formation can look different depending how each team forms it. Am I interpreting this correctly?

That's pretty cool. I don't think I would want to use that for skydiving. It seems like it would create a big blind spot.

If you were to use any freeplaymusic.com music in tandem videos it does require that you pay a fee. Read their usage agreement before using it commercially or using it on a website.

Question for those who don't believe in a higher power.
beowulf replied to gonzalesna's topic in Speakers Corner
The answer would be neither. As there would be no way to verify whether it is actually a revelation from god or a halucination, but it's most likely to be a halucination. -
Question for those who don't believe in a higher power.
beowulf replied to gonzalesna's topic in Speakers Corner
It makes it impossible to verify, therefore useless as evidence. I wouldn't say the person was lying as they could believe it to be true, but that doesn't mean it is true. -

Which would make them meaningless. By them I mean the 'private revelation'. -
Question for those who don't believe in a higher power.
beowulf replied to gonzalesna's topic in Speakers Corner
How would anyone quantify the 'private revelation' of everyone who has one? How can you tell whether one true or false? It's pretty easy to dismiss since there is no way to verify a 'private revelation'. -
Question for those who don't believe in a higher power.
beowulf replied to gonzalesna's topic in Speakers Corner
I am sure there are plenty of people who have a 'private revelation' concerning their chosen deity. Why wouldn't that be enough to show that their deity exists? It works for one god shouldn't it work for all? -
Question for those who don't believe in a higher power.
beowulf replied to gonzalesna's topic in Speakers Corner
If you believe in one god you should believe in them all since they all have the same amount of evidence of their existence. -
Question for those who don't believe in a higher power.
beowulf replied to gonzalesna's topic in Speakers Corner
What is the difference between 'private revelation' and halucination, wishful thinking or misinterpretation. Just because some claims to have heard the voice of god and truly believes doesn't mean they actually did. There is absolutly no way to verify what they claim. So it is worthless as far as evidence is concerned. -
Flash media HD video cameras that are good with freeflying?

I have an HC5 that works great. I don't know how it compares to the HC1, but I would think it would be better. -
The padding in the skydiving helmets are mostly for comfort.

Question for those who don't believe in a higher power.
beowulf replied to gonzalesna's topic in Speakers Corner
Not the same thing, but you can think it is. All deitys have one thing in common. None of them have any evidence of their existence. Suspecting that there are many other galaxies and planets out there based on the planets and galaxies that we can see is logically sound. Believing in any deity is not logically sound. -
Getting in a hurry to learn everything has killed and maimed more then one person. Your odds of living go down the faster you try to push things. There are not very many mistakes you can get away with in skydiving. Sometimes it doesn't even take a mistake to kill or seriously injure you.

Question for those who don't believe in a higher power.
beowulf replied to gonzalesna's topic in Speakers Corner
I never said anything about proving anything. There is no evidence of any deity so there is no reason for me to believe in one. -
Question for those who don't believe in a higher power.
beowulf replied to gonzalesna's topic in Speakers Corner
'private revelation' is meaningless. That is why I ignored it. The person who 'god' reveals himself to can in no way prove that he wasn't halucinating or just misinterpreting what he saw or heard. -
Question for those who don't believe in a higher power.
beowulf replied to gonzalesna's topic in Speakers Corner
How do you know there isn't any evidence? There may be such a thing as private revelation. Can you prove that God has not made His existence known to an individual? Can you prove the boogie man doesn't exist? or Odin? or name any other deity? You could say the same thing about each of them. With out any evidence no deity could be reasonably believed to exist. -

I don't exist! -

Till there is any evidence of any deity it is an assumption no matter how much anyone believes in it. -

I fixed it for you. You assume there is a god out there. -

Has anyone tried side mounting any of these CX cameras? Like with a 2k Composites helmet?
