The WARP system is a skydiving program broken down into categories. You can get a WARP video somewhere, I'm sure. I used to have one many moons ago. I loaned it to someone and never got it back. Harry

Hi Andy. I've got a Raven and it has had one Raven save. I wrote Precision about it. Actually I wrote a poem (in couplets) about the whole event but they didn't publish it. Harry

If the Star-Trac is in good condition, I think that you got a good deal. You can practice your landing accuracy and keep the canopy for a later time in your skydiving career when you will be jumping into stadiums, parade fields, etc... Get some good advice/training about making accuracy landings before attempting them. Harry

Which container do you like more & Y? Vector or Mirage?
robskydiv replied to pyke's topic in Gear and Rigging
I bought a Dolphin back in '97. Still jump it. However, when I saw my friend's Vector, I began to experience container envy. Harry -
ground exercises, keeping current without jumping???
robskydiv replied to andy2's topic in Safety and Training
Brother, if I were you now or me back when I was a student, I would save up a ton of money, then go to the wind tunnel, back to the DZ and breeze through my course. Just a thought. Harry -
Thankyou for such an in-depth description and explanation of turbulence and how it affects our canopies. Your article let me know that so far I have reacted correctly to it and more importantly what to do if the canopy should collapse. ***"A more informed canopy pilot, makes for a better canopy pilot."

Picking up your deployed canopy

Nice answer Wendy. That's the way I do it with my Falcon 265. -
"big boned" hahaha...ok...chubby
robskydiv replied to snowboundlava's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Hi Snowbound. Don't worry about it. My exit weight is 238Lbs. Compared to small people, I'm a free-falli'n farm animal. I'll jump with ya but can you stay with me? Harry -
If it's a Spectre 230, try Neon (Lemon) Yellow all the way. But then again, Blackberry and Neon green are nice too. Harry Jusy my two cents worth...

Hi Sean and welcome. Which method of training are you involved in? Just curious. Keep jumping my friend. It only gets better. Harry

Hi Dave. I anticipate your results with the impending Bev suit. I think that you'll like what you get especially when it comes to RW. A friend of mine has always used Bev suits and he likes them alot and he is a terriffic relative worker. With your experiences with SDU it sounds like you too are headed towards being a skilled RW flyer as well. I hope you like the suit. Harry

What not to do (how the Aggie almost died)

Hey Styli'n, when you find yourself unfettered in freefall, it is then that you will truly be "styli'n." Harry " Put the lotion in the basket." -
Hi HCarvahal. I'm glad that you stoppd by this site. Your post brought back some strong memories for me. I remember, while jumping at Son DZ at Ft. Campbell Ky, the mandatory nine AM safety briefings that occurred every time we jumped. The safety brief covered this contingency and many more. Harry

Hi Malev. Go for it! Have fun. Harry

One hundred Sixty three and all is well
robskydiv replied to Rdutch's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Well, someone's got to do it! Way to be Dutch. We all now know that when you are not posting, you are jumping. Harry -
Hello again Gabby. And how about you? Are you going to make a jump too?

Great points of view. I sadly concur. It would be great if they could have a peaceful, prosperous government/nation. But I fear that it just won't happen. Harry ***May God richly bless all of our troops.

Way to go Payback! Left turn, Rt turn, Backloop. Rt turn, left turn, backloop

Hi Gabby. Where there's a will, there's a way. Peter will skydive again. And again and again...

Falcon 265 Blackberry except for the two cells next to the last ones. Those two are neon (Lime) green with a lime green slider and ribs.

Congrats Clownburner. Now are an official cloud-burner.

Ditto here flyangel, except I only had to do two 10 sec. delays, two 15 sec. delays, two 30's etc. As far as progression went it seemed like every other jump was a good jump and every other jump was a bad jump. But they kept letting me go to the next step. (The 3 tandems done the year before helped alot to finally get the arch down.) Harry

Welcome! Stay current my friend. Stay safe.

Which part of the dive do you enjoy more?
robskydiv replied to SkydiveMonkey's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Freefall would be my answer. But shooting the dot comes in second. Harry -
Student Rigs...how long do people normally use them?
robskydiv replied to andy2's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
We're all poor. You might wanna do what I did, whip out your credit card and buy yourself some gear. Harry ***"Pay now or pay later"
