  1. The guy that executes his relatives with Triple A is now an “Honorable” guy and ready to get rid of his nukes?
  2. Not in the least, no radios at this DZ’s. He landed over a gentle roll in the horizon, where I knew were some pretty good size rocks and boulders. I started walking out about 10 minutes with not seeing any sign from him. I found him sitting down and smarting over a broken humerous. I called the DZ and asked for a car that made its way out a bout an hour later. The AFFI gave a very demeaning speech to all of us before the jump on Sky Van procedures, the fact that we had been jumping it for the three previous days didn’t seem to matter much. This was the first and last time I saw him, a short, cocky, dark haired Australian. Later, when I asked him why he didn’t follow thru with his student, he was all apologies and had his hat in his hands. Knowing then what I know now, I would have made more of an issue.
  3. The way I read it, The original Christians thought Christ was coming right back, in fact they started losing faith when fellow Christians were dying before Christ came back. In fact Paul mentions that some original Christins mixed with “Sleeping” ones would be present for his return. Fast forward 2000 years and folks are still waiting.
  4. What a drag it is getting older.
  5. And if you allow me to digress, the fact that Ron doesn’t possess the moral turpitude to admit that Trump doesn’t have an ounce of him that’s presidential, only exposes what a laughable sham of a belief system Ron has.
  6. The fact is, if Obama had five children from three wives, with his current wife having dabbled in soft core lesbian porn, only to have her husband cheat on her with a hardcore porn star, Ron’s head would have exploded like a hydrogen bomb.
  7. Sending lawyers, guns and money.
  8. Since it's so common, why don't you tell us how the resignations, dismissals and indictments of Trump's staff compare with those of, say, Obama's or either of the Bushes' staffs. A comparison cannot be made, you know apples and oranges. Just wait, at the end of President Trump's first term the economy will be strong and the middle class will be living well. Your enthusiasm for Donald Trump is the best example we have for Evangelicals complete denial of reality.
  9. How do you know you can trust what they stated about their own (lack of) credibility.[/quote Watching it live on tv and the panic in their voices to get it off the screen.
  10. This really made my Monday. https://www.theguardian.com/media/2018/apr/09/fox-news-accidentally-displays-graphic-showing-it-is-least-trusted-cable-network
  11. Yeah I mean what the fuck. If you feel something happened but aren't sure what, stop anyway and find out. I've driven through places where if I hit someone I would immediately call 911 while driving to the nearest police station. I would not stop. And I'm not a small woman named Tran. It’s not in too bad of a neighborhood.
  12. About ten years ago, the pediatric rehab where I worked had a 12 year old boy who recovered from a vegetative state after being hit by a car in front of his school. I never realized how crazy the accompanying lawsuit was. So the kid was running to a bus, not during school hours and was struck by a car going 32 Mph. The driver claims she was uncertain if she had actually hit anything and drove home. She later called the school and asked if there were any kids hit earlier and only then did she return. She told police that school was not in session so she was not driving 25mph, but 32 MPH. Police agreed and placed 100% blame on the child and stated the driver was faultless. The mother made a claim of $50,000, the policy limits of the driver’s insurance company. They promptly denied the claim based on the San Jose PD’s report. The attorney established that California law states tha a school that does not have a perimeter fence, has a speed limit of 25 Mph when ever children are present, despite school hours. A school with a fence, has a speed limit of 25 MPH only during school hours What resulted was the largest settlement in Santa Clara history, a $10 million dollar settlement. And what I didn’t know, once an insurance company gives the middle finger on settling, the sky is now the limit on a jury award. https://www.alexanderlaw.com/blog/10-million-judgment

    Isle of Dogs

Another one that I've been waiting for is "The Death of Stalin," though it's not one that I'd necessarily need to see in a theater. It's a comedy about Stalin's death. How can it lose? We’re on the same page, Stalin just came out yesterday in theatres. Interestingly, Stalin can be rented now on British Apple. I’m opting for the big screen.

    Isle of Dogs

I’ve been waiting a year for this movie. Is this just a coincidence at the the 54 second mark? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5104604/videoplayer/vi1400682777
  15. Just this morning during my devotions, I began to see that in the final trimester of fetal development the person is forming a spiritual relationship with God the father. At birth the individual is amazed at its existence and begins to seek understanding of its new environment. Somewhere in the first two years the individual develops ego and "I" becomes selfishly centralized. Some of us remember our spiritual connection and try to regain it. Wait wait wait - you stated very clearly just a few weeks ago that everyone is born sinful and that they have to find God in order to undo that. Now you're reversing that and saying that everyone is born OK and gets sinful in the first couple of years because of this ego thing you bang on about. and you're saying both of these things like it's fact 'because you see it' after thinking about it for a little while. And you wonder why I have issues with your faith? It's inconsistent and entirely made up. You can change your stance as the wind blows to give yourself whatever comfy feeling you like. It's the ultimate get-out-of-jail-free card. You take no responsibility for your life, behaviour or actions because you've convinced yourself that 'I believe in Jesus so it'll be fine'. I hope there IS a God and that they judge people based on how they've lived their lives. I think a lot of people who expect otherwise would be in for a very rude awakening. I believe man is born sinful because he will develop self consciousness. His ego will make him the center of his world. It is natural. The natural has to be subverted to the spiritual by choice and by faith. That choice is available to all but only a few desire to take that path. It is the road less traveled. What makes you think that I or any Christian does not take responsibility for our lives?. Every swinging dick thinks they’re on the road less travelled.

    Waco

It was interesting for me during Waco, at the time I was working with Stephan Jones, only biological child of Jim Jones. Stephan wanted so bad to call the FBI and offer his assistance in trying to defuse the situation. In the end, he figured they would just think he’s a nut and ignore him, he never called. It sure did create some PTSD for him, during Waco he was a whole different person.

  19. Hillary is walking free for much much much much much worse. Why should he be in prison? Undoubtably the dumbest thing I’ve ever read from you. Astounding level of stupid.
  20. Quack quack quack... Straight up woo, see a real doctor.
  21. Yes, For the same reasons Jared Kushner deserves a top secret security clearance. Security only matters if it affects the dotard's secrets. Everything else? Share with Russia or whoever. As a veteran, I find this so insulting to anyone who has, or had a security clearance and did the right thing. And then to muddy the whole thing with Clinton’s name is nothing but bizarre.
