  1. Okay. No. It isn't. Better? Sin has zero to do with disease. ZERO. Regardless of what somebody may believe, it simply doesn't change the fact any more than believing Zeus causes lightning. Sin causes guilt, guilt causes stress, stress causes your body's resistance to illness to be lowered. http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/249215.php
  2. Kinda new around here, aren't you?
  3. Yeah, Obama should have fired all of them and replaced them with some of his cronies.
  4. So you're saying the Church sponsored the vandalism. OK. Yeah, why don't you go with that assessment.
  5. The Church sponsors a Boy Scout Troop. Stop trying to make this out to be more than it is like you usually do.
  6. They are not Church leaders. They are Boy Scout leaders. Learn to read.
  7. I really doubt Billvon needs you to defend him no matter how strong your maternal instincts You already claimed he doesn't differentiate between the basis for government payments. Therefore VA benefits and welfare are the same to him, per your statement. If you agree, then you have just validated what I said. But nobody expects you to admit you are wrong, so have a great day.
  8. I'm not in the habit of praising those who simply kick the can down the road. You don't really think they are going to come up with a solution by January, do you? This was all about power. Not a solution.
  9. you're lying. You're pretty funny, Kelp. You do realize you just agreed with my original point, don't you. Typical Kelp discussion that ends on a dead end street. There's nothing funny about lying on a matter that is so trivial to confirm. It's just stupid. You chopped more than you included. What's stupid is to argue something without realizing you are actually agreeing. I understand your frustration.
  10. Your last 2 posts are very revealing and demonstrates that often outsiders do not have enough or the proper information to come to a reasoned conclusion.
  11. Those would generally be the ones that included actual facts and analysis, as opposed to the cute quips and sound bites. And reading and considering doesn't mean wholehearted acceptance. Wendy P. Agreed. However, how many books do you read when you know the ending before you start?
  12. That's very cool. How was the construction quality? Was it real wood or some type of veneer/laminate over particle board?
  13. I realize there are probably different models, sizes and options but what was the price range?
  14. Define "wiser." I would tend to think "wiser" includes being willing to listen to and consider opposing opinions. But what do I know Wendy P. It would also include learning whose opinion is worth listening to.

  16. Yes, it was, except that usually when someone says something like "word for word" you don't chop out the words around it, removing context. Unless you're lying. His point has consistently been that benefits are benefits - and people have a long history of being in favor of the ones they like, and very angry at those they do not. Bullshit and you know it. I didn't "chop" any words. Exactly my point. He see's benefits for those who served exactly the same as he see's benefits for ne're do wells. Now that we have that cleared up, what was your point exactly? Oh, right, you didn't have one. Thanks for playing.
  17. No, it's my contention that this Principle is VERY likely an Obama voter indoctrinating young people with his hysteria and abject and irrational fear of guns. It is also my contention that he is very subtley instilling a fear of the Police. And yes, people on both ends of the political spectrum say and do stupid things. This is an example of a very likely Democrat/Obama voter. Do you disagree with that likelihood? Hard data show that the better educated you are, the less likely you are to be a Republican. Reading posts here seems to confirm that. It also shows that as you become more mature and gather more life experiences, you become more Conservative. Although, reading some of the posts from senior citizens on here proves not everyone become wiser as they age.
  18. misquoting billvon doesn't make for a good argument. It's been a really bad start to the week for you, man. I know how hard it is to keep a straight face supporting the bullshit of the GOP this week, but your posts are completely devoid of meaningful discourse. No misquoting. That's exactly what he said, word for word. Anyone who has posted on this site for a while knows he constantly associates veteran benefits to welfare.

Reading posts here seems to confirm that. Statistics also show that if you're left wing, you have a better chance of suffering from mental illness. Reading posts here seems to confirm that. :) Devildog 1 Kallend 0 I particularly love it when they show left wing psychosis in their fear of inanimate objects.
  20. Yes, because as we know, you think military Vets are the same as welfare queens.
  21. Temper get you much? Anger leading to a personal attack, can be a sign of stymied personal growth. Or hemmoroids.
