You're talking as if there are no talented people out there at all.. "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean
-
It doesn't mean some people are not good enough to do that
-
All I can see is totally biased opinion and nothing more... No point to ask questions like these here, cause everyone will just say that the best rig is the one they own, which is natural off course... "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean

181 jumps in 1 year and you're already flying a wingsuit and doing from what it seems a stable headdown... You must be really damn good.. "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean
-
Alright, that's what I wanted to know, thanks

What suit are you flying? "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean

True, but I'm talking about inflation now... The guys in the video (6:26 and 6:28, black/red and white/blue wingsuits) seem to not have any inflation. So basically my question is: why make a wingsuit without any or poor inflation? Isn't it better to make hugely inflatable mattress type of WS? "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean
-
But it's not good having poor or no inflation like in the BM/S-fly photos? This means lower performance unlike the mattress looking V3? If you look at this video, particularly at the 5:36 part where the whole wingsuiting starts, you will later see (6:28) a guy flying a black suit with red arm/leg wings and the one with white suit and blue arm/leg wings (6:26) and they don't seem to inflate at all, it just seems like a simple piece of cloth without any inflation whatsoever.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOjMV3nIVUQ Why's that? Is that just a very old model? Also, what about it's performance? "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean
-
Yeah I know the BM is on the ground, but it looks the same in the air So these are older design type of wingsuits? "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean

Hey, I noticed that some wingsuits don't seem to inflate (or am I wrong). For example some Birdman suits and S-fly ones.. They just seem like a simple piece of cloth with no air inside them, while wingsuits like Raptor, Vampire 3 seem very puffy and full of air inside them, fully inflated... Why's that? http://www.matthoover.com/gallery/skydiving-photos/2008-06/2008-06_p06.html#navbar omfg the orange guy has an Atom, that's something I wasn't hoping in seeing in US... "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean

This sport is basically all about the "look at me". Be it PD Factory Team or guy's like this doing all kinds of records... "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean

Details please? How can a plane/copter go up so fast? "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Infinity and I'm definitely not stating that it's a bad container in any way. Just noticed some similarities with Vector and Javelin so I pointed them out... And yes, you're absolutely right, there are many similarities between other containers as well, it's just that Infinity seemed like a hybrid of Vector and Javelin, so yeah, case closed Thanks for the info as well guys
-
I don't have an ultimate point. Just pointing out the similarities which I haven't seen between other rigs
-
When you look at Infinity from the back at the sides by the reserve, their curves look like Vector's and the main closing flap looks like Javelins... What's so negative about a container that might have similarities to others?! People are offended by such stupid minor things these days it's becoming really scary Edit: Look at the attachment, no other rig bares such resemblance to vector and javelin... Why are you posting a useless reply? "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean

Why does Infinity look like a copy of Vector and Javelin? "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean
-
Well, it's a matter of how you define flying yourself I guess.. I have always and will always imagine flying when you can take off the ground, gain and not lose altitude and go where ever you look...
-
That's probably the weakest form of gliding and can barely if not at all be categorized as gliding... "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean
-
People with wingsuits - glide, people without - fall. Oh and people with tracking suits can be categorised as some kind of pseudo gliding... "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean
-
I guess it's just a matter of denial. Some people just want to think they are flying no matter how absurd it sounds and that they are actually gliding at best... You just want to feel special don't ya? I can "flyyyy" oh yeeeaaaah "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean
-
You nailed it here pretty well "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean
-
It's not even gliding, it's falling. While gliding you can gain altitude using thermals (glider, paraglider, hang-glider). With a wingsuit you're just falling really slower than a guy without one, but you have a huge forward speed. I always thought that flying is when you gain or not lose altitude... hehe, how do I edit polls? "Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." James Dean
