  1. Ow. Would it hurt her? I suppose so, that thing kinda looks like a fishing hook Hence the stereotypical smell analogy? The fishing hook might hurt her, but what about the fishing rod?.... Ouch

  3. Not true, I may be a dork sometimes, but not all the time. Usually I get described as being funny and not dorky... Oh and my calculator is a TI Voyage 200... If I could I would marry it. BEST calculator ever
  4. What I enjoy about being an adult? In short: Boobs, Booze, Motorcycles and Skydiving! Does that make me normal now?
  5. Only if you have looong fingers I guess. But what about an ehm... "entanglement"? THAT must hurt
  6. Do you stuff the whole thing in? And what is the line for at the bottom
  7. Two phonecalls from me, one from mz dzo, a PM to someone from USPA who read my earlier rant and asked me to PM her.... Well 6 months later and I still got no Membership card. I give up P.S.: And YES I do receive the parachutist, so they have my correct address which I also confirmed in phonecalls...
  8. You can get a specific design from Tonysuit? I thought you can only choose from certain styles and printed fabrics. The ouragan suits kind of look like each colored area is a separate patch, which sewing together sounds like a lot of work, explaining the high price. Does Tonysuit do this kind of labor expensive work? I guess if they do that they would be as expensive as Ouragan... my pit special with only the necessary options turned out to be 380
  9. No offense meant, but this sounds like an advertising post to me, especially if I take in the poster with no background infos and only 3 posts. But maybe I am only paranoid...
  10. Similar to you, I am in the sport for the freefall maneuvers (in my case I like RW), so I don't really care about fast canopys. I am 190 out of the door and I jump a 220 right now, and I was told I can go further down soon with my good landings. But why? I don't want to swoop and a safe landing is more important to me than a fast and "stylish" one. If you don't go into extremes, I don't think there is something like a "too Big" canopy, same as you can't be "too safe"....
  11. Nah....at 3,500 even with a tumbled exit and an additional 5 seconds delay/swear session you should be well above that. For one, you are still vectoring along with the plane and you aren't at terminal velocity so your downward velocity is so little. The parachute opens quick even in the lower deployment speeds. Cool I just went through my Hop'n'pops and got them signed of. The chute took a bit longer to get out of the bag, but man that opening was SOFT, was actually really fun and I would do it anytime again
  12. So people would stop asking WTF RW is? IIRC, it was done with an eye toward skydiving being in the Olympics. The term "formation skydiving" is more descriptive and easier for whuffos to understand than is the term "relative work." Olympics?? I doubt they will ever be there. Too many people are too closeminded about skydiving, I have heard quite a few times "Skydiving? Thats no sport!"...
  13. It would be.... but no more crazier than a friend's cousin showing up at a halloween costume party dressed as Superman in a wheelchair with tube.... the Halloween after Reeves died... boy did he kill that party or what? It got real quiet all of a sudden. Haha do you have a photo by any chance? I would die to see that
  14. Awww too bad. those are really good. And the breathing tube.... ehm well that's a bid weird
  15. I have 10 different scars on my hands from a variety of incidents - burnings, knife fuck-ups, ice skate and using fists as a battering ram through walls and doors. Yeah, they're old... It just kind of reminds you of the different things that already happened and how far or not that lies back. It is just more obvious since you see scars on your hands more often then scars on well your ass or back. Well I do have a couple of scars on my ass from a prolonged paddling by daddy when I was really bad. Yeah but how often do you look at those?.. ahhh wait, I don't think I want to know

    ATMONAUTI

Information from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmonauti Haha hilarious, whoever typed that. Edit: Can someone please explain to a newbie, what exactly atmonauti is in simple terms without all the technical trara made up "scientific sounding" terms? I still don't get what's so different from a tracking dive?
  19. Oh I have quite a few already posted elsewhere, if I can find them, I'll link them in here rather than type them all over again. No need to do that... I already read through the complete thread

    The Mods

Yes, they can. But what's even better is that they are able to access all of the porn files on your computer as well. Haha lol I bet someone is franticly deleting files right now
  21. Other sports? Running, hiking, sailing and that's about it. I did kickboxing for some years but stopped that due to not having enough time for doing that 3 times a week and my study. Might pick it up again in the coming years or atleast go to the gym.. I kind of value my brain more after the study and don't really want to beat it to pulp anymore
  22. I just think some of you saw the movie "Eurotrip" one time too often I would probably have a hard time fitting in the plane bathroom with my 6'2" and a girl anyway, I mean you still want to be able to "move"
  23. Good point. I think the question shouldn't be "When is someone truly a skydiver?" It should be more "When did you consider yourself truly a skydiver?" Since everybody conceives this different and applies other measures. It is more about the "ok THIS is it" moment for me, than trying to figure out a "measurement" for others.
  24. WORK? What do you mean with that? Could you please "conceptualize" that, so that us papershufflers can understand that alien concept?
