Eric First off, please accept our apology for the error in the line set. As skydivers we know what it's like to have our gear "leave the nest" while we eagerly wait to jump ;-) We will be in contact today, to make sure that any decisions are made to best suit and benefit your skydiving. There have also been a few very valid posts on the subject of leaving the lines in the Hybrid configuration. But at the end of the day we need to make you our customer happy. So a new "correct" line set is ordered and will be ready to replace the Hybrid one we incorrectly installed. Please feel free to contact us in this or any other related matter. Elijah I think from this thread and the response you have gotten, it is about time you got yourself a demo and made your own choice on which canopy is best for you. In the long run it's a varied objective view on what flight characteristics we each enjoy. When I first jumped the Mamba in 2006, it did not feel like a canopy that was the right fit for me, so I remained on my Vision (this is before I worked for Aerodyne). Over the last 2 years I have come to enjoy the Mamba, it has such great versatility. The one thing I like the most is the openings and rear riser control. I'm confident that no mater which canopy you end up buying, your making a good choice. If your ready to demo, please give us a call at the office and lets get one out to you. Aerodyne Service Bulletin relocating ADD cutters

The modification is mandatory only to members of FFP French parachute Federation), visiting jumpers are not required to have the modification done to their rigs. If you visit France on a regular basis to jump, I would suggest contacting any DZ you plan to visit in France to confirm. -

I would have suggested since your grilling Fillet, you can take some fresh asparagus spears, (medium thickness) add olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic, and grill till soft .... make sure to turn them to avoid burning, but you want some grill action on there. Once ready, serve with a little balsamic vinegar, shaved parmesan cheese and diced sun dried tomatoes

Aerodyne Service Bulletin relocating ADD cutters

This is not a compulsory service bulletin, it was issued on request by the FFP (French Parachute Federation) under the instruction of Eric Fradet. The entire PDF is available from our website http://www.flyaerodyne.com/fly/supportother.asp I have attached the first and last page to this post, and also copied the initial context of the Service Bulletin. -------------------------- ICON CONTAINER ALTERNATE AAD CUTTER POSITION Issue Date : January 25. 2008 Bulletin Upon Request Identification: All ICON Harness/Container. Part Number: P120, P125 Background: French Parachute Federation have certified it compulsory for all Harness/Containers used in France must have the AAD cutter fitted above the reserve spring loaded pilot chute. The ICON Harness/Container was designed, tested and certified with the AAD cutter positioned below the reserve spring loaded pilot chute and positioned on reserve Flap #1. Aerodyne has also certified the AAD cutter to be positioned above the reserve spring loaded pilot chute. Both positions of the AAD are approved and effective. The Technical Bulletin is hence classified as optional. -------------------------- If you have any questions on this or any other Aerodyne related matter please feel free to contact us at the Tampa offices. What recipe did you use? From the lack of response we can speculate a few things: 1. Burnt the entire house down cooking the Fillet 2. Choked on a over cooked dry Fillet 3. Still in bed being thanked for the very succulent Fillet

The Fillet should be just below room temperature, Pre season the Fillet by rubbing it with a mixture of corse black pepper, corse salt and olive oil. (add some fine chopped sun dried tomatoes if you feel adventurous) Let it stand for about 30 to 45 minutes. Get your grill fired up, if you have one that has two or three burners, get on section Flaming HOT and the other medium to low. The grill needs to be before you put the Fillet on, if need be wait a few extra moments. Sear the Fillet on both sides (don't toss it over and over like a salad) Sear one side and then the other, this should be a quick process. Place seared fillet on low burner section and cook for 5 to 6 minutes each side. You can wrap the seared Fillet in foil and place on the low heat as it will help keep the moisture in, this cooks a little longer. Have fun tonight ......
