Comming from South Africa, I cannot but smile, when reading the name of this "Ubuntu" ..... very apt name for the style and mindset behind the OS "A traveller through a country would stop at a village and he didn't have to ask for food or for water. Once he stops, the people give him food, entertain him. That is one aspect of Ubuntu but it will have various aspects. Ubuntu does not mean that people should not address themselves. The question therefore is: Are you going to do so in order to enable the community around you be able to improve?"

What would you do with a cheating girlfriend?
kaerodyne replied to okieheaddown's topic in The Bonfire
Having been on both ends of the scenario and see the aftermath, your best walking away and finding peace. You however need to forgive her, not for her but for yourself, this will allow you to move on and find what you truly deserve in life. If you stay with her, trust me, she will cheat on you again, and unless you have the strength of a thousand men, you will be slowly broken down. Beside, she just was not that into you -

Lee Yes, Aerodyne has been looking at the SkyHook, and once we have a better understanding on the delivery of the system in the Icon, we will make sure to let everyone know. As for a date when it will be available, we cannot yet give that, as many things still need to be completed in the whole process. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. hehe ... very low key -
You need to read the context of most of these original posts, way before your attitude surfaced. The majority of jumpers were upset that the husband was going to sue for the listed reasons, and many thought that was a despicable idea. More so we are all entitled to our opinion and wish when it comes to such matters, you seem not to have the ability to allow others to have that, without berating them. I choose not to sue even for gross negligence on the part of individual involved in the normal day to day operation of a DZ. Thats my choice, deal with it. In respects to an apology, to the jumpers involved in the possible lawsuit. Sorry I will not, I have a opinion on this matter, and even if we were family I would give you the same treatment. I hope they all heal the physical and emotional damage this incident has caused. I to have lost countless friends in the sport and held someone's hand while they died in this great sport. Blue Skies to everyone

Maybe I'm reading it incorrectly, but it seems that the suit might still not be dropped by the lawyer who has written consent from the jumper. "We had authority from her to file the suit," Rader said. "Discussions have always been that once we obtained this information the suit was going to be dropped. It was never her intention to ever attempt to seek the personal assets of Freefall Express or any of the defendants." "If it's determined the company doesn't have insurance that will cover the crash, the suit will be dropped, Rader said. If such insurance exists, "there will be discussions on how to proceed," he said." I would not take too much of what is being said in this article to heart, until the suit is actually dropped in writing. Lets hope for the best.

So you are saying it is ok to sue? Talk about contradiction. Read my entire post. before making an assumption or accusation. No where do i say it's OK to sue, I was sure my posts indicated that suing a fellow jumper made me sick to my stomach. And yes, seeking compensation, be it from a insurance policy, the DZO themselves, or workers compensation. Is not a unreasonable request ... never did i mention the act of litigation, please read correctly and also the entire post. The thing that is more upsetting, as I have posted before is the fact the lame ass husband was looking to profit from this "broken" leg. Compensation for medical expenses is one thins suing for the reasons they were or are ... please. So, read my post again in it's entirety .... thanks

I'm sure she knows she does not have a leg to stand on (excuse the pun) as she signed the waiver and assumed all the risks, and since this was not a aircraft reliability issue, no blame can be placed on the DZO for that, the only thing she has is trying to prove the FFE was negligent in hiring the pilot and negligent in training him. And then they have the money bag eyes for the pilot who they will try prove was negligent due to past errors in flight etc. Funny how she might of know about it, yet still made the choice to climb onboard and risk her life with that knowledge. Her and her lame assed husband have only a civil case that is worth anything, and they will as we have seen look to sue on the grounds of pain and suffering that her poor husband will endure. He needs to give back his Man Card and get himself a Mangina They are a bunch of muppets .... enough said.
