I'm in sales, recovering from IT. I work as a systems engineer for a PACS company. PACS is the system that stores the CTs MRIs, Xrays, etc for radiology departments. The best part is that its a technical job, but I don't have the typical IT stress load, and its a sales job, but I work with salesmen who have all the sales pressure. I get to fly all over and demo the product and answer questions about it, without doing any real work!

Are you sure it's dead? My mini did this to me a couple weeks ago. I reloaded it from the ipod updater and it's back to normal again. I did the same thing last weekend actually.... I did a low turn instead of taking the safer route of a crosswind landing and lucked out with just a bruised talibone and a sore back. Very hard landing, one of the instructors told me it looked like i bounced 10 feet in the air I haven't jumped again yet cause my back is still a little sore, but in another week or two I'll be back up there. At first I kicked myself pretty hard for screwing up so badly, but once I got over that I learned as much as I could from the jump and I won't make the same mistake again. I don't have a first jump after injury story yet, but don't worry too much about your last jump... it's in the past. On my AFF jumps I didn't have any trouble with the flips. But on a couple solos since then I keep coming out of the backflip too late and ending up in a sit... well, in a sit for a second before I got a little unstable and tumbled a bit before my arch got me back to normal. I did my first coached jump this weekend. I did a couple solo jumps after my high and low solos, and I'm glad I did. Now going into my coach jumps, I know what I did well on my solo jumps and what I didn't do well, so I know what I want to work on with the coaches. It helped me build confidence in my jumping too, just by having a couple solo jumps in the logbook. I also learned how to pack before doing my coach jumps. I managed to finish week 2 and move on to week 3 run 1 today. Being done in 4 runs is so nice. It feit like the run was over a lot faster. One down two to go... Why does it say "Append signature to post" when I don't have a signature?
