Yes it moves fasster in teh other side but when it gets in the 6K range in slows to more accuratly show your alti with no needle bounce. it's a very smooth sweep with the needle SO this one time at band camp..... "Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most."

I love mine got 18 jumps with it so far. My instructor realy likes his he has had one of the Demo ones from L&B since the world record and has done many jumps with it it's given him no problems at all, thats why I decided to get it. I was having the same issue ecept I was so bad I would tumble just would be sliting away from the instructor. He said i need to feel teh wind on my shins and If i dont you probly have them in to much my next jump i did that and was ok I still forget some times and slide back. Both are reliable and both will do a good job, I would pick witch ever feels most comfortable in your hands. Revolvers are reliable and will do as needed in high stress situation. The draw back is limited number of rounds. As for an automatic unless you shoot it often and practice stoppage drill's (something I rarely see people do) it's not a good choice. I don't know what your experience is in shooting. My personal choice for hand gun due to my smaller hand size, again it's personal choice is 10mm p226. I shoot is almost weekly and every other trip to the range I use random dummy training rounds mixed in the live so I will not know when a stoppage miss fire will happen a practice clearing drill’s (I've seen some one mention using a round with the powder removed NEVER do this!!!!! the primer has enough power to send the bullet in to the barrel with the next round after clearing causing a catastrophic failure!!!! use proper training rounds if you are going to do this.) Biggest thing to do is shoot shoot shoot and then start deliberate shooting in various positions that you may find your self in. on the ground one handed , sitting , ect... also work on shooting with weak hand and shooting close range with out using the sights. Ok things I’ve learned in the Army #1. Max Flex until your actually in a rack some place you could be going any where. #2. Hurry up and wait. This is a very popular game where you rush for everything and when get there told it or you wert need for another 10 mins, hours, days ,weeks depending on the situation and how quick you rushed. #3. Always make copies of your paperwork because 5 min after you hand it over some one other then the person you just gave the paperwork to will then tell you what you know is wrong. #4. Never volunteer for any thing, Volunteer for everything. This little catch 22 is a fun little game they use mess with your mind, don’t volunteer and you get stuck for the shitty jobs, Volunteer and you’re still stuck with the shitty jobs and once in a while they will throw in something really fun because you volunteer. They do this to sucker you in to keep volunteering it in the hopes of having something good come along (hehe I used this one often ) #5. The one time you decide you won’t need it and leave it behind it will turn in to the time you need it. Inversely when you become a pack mule and take everything it ends up being only one in a hundred you'll actually use any of it other then the clean socks and underwear. #6. I've fallen asleep kinda freaked out the other on that load she was only about a dozen jumps higher on me and the Instructor was doing the spotting thing, I find when ther is a full load and couldnt move around that i just relax and start to go over in my mind what the instructor had discused and reherse it and thats it start to nood off. But I did spend 9 year in the armour corps driving around in crampt noisy boxs so it actualy feels calming and natural to me havent realey bee stressed ecept when geting to the door. when it's time to get ready I can just switch on and get ready for the jump. When its been 2 or three on the run I've been at the instructor side going through how to spot and observing the 2 min turn and such. SO this one time at band camp..... Wait a min you saying you'll get 2 in one day 2 in another ect ect ect I love doing it, not because I want to get some gold wings , and you beginning post you PO'ed that you couldn’t get people up to do a load and say the place sucks and what ever crap you're spewing ever think that those people were there do the same ? what ever jumps they wanted and they were content with that? I was at my DZ the other weekend by 4 pm 10 full loads 40jumps were done and it was 33 degrees and humid many people were burnt out by some were out of money by then and people started to just lounge then were heading out to go home, beach food ect. . But in your view I guess this place would suck too but hey getting to know people would do wonder because then people will want to jump with you not for you just to fill a load. but what do I know I’ve only had seven jumps, other then meeting a lot of people and making friend with them an already having offer from people and coaches wanting to fill loads and jump with me so I can complete my A. Sorry to say you sound like people are there to server your own self interests. People have there own reasons for not jumping and don’t need to justify to you why. SO this one time at band camp.....
