  1. yup - try calling your senators. The best I have gotten in the past 3 years is an answering machine. I am willing to bet that Bezos (et al) have all the senators phone numbers and I bet they answer when he calls.
  2. First they came after the journalists. We don't know what happened after that.....
  3. That;s a pretty slanted skew on what was said - typical conservative.....
  4. good luck on the GOP ever backing down from the lies and deception. It worked for Hillary back in 2015-2016 - they made her a criminal demon and then not even an LEO investigation at any level once Trump got in office...... and their base is fucking stupid enough to believe anything they tell them.
  5. Apparently I misread the headline. I never got how Mitch gets elected so much, everyone I know in KY hate him, but he still wins. We could use a good die-off of many in House, Senate and presidential candidates.....
  6. absolutely. They will put the craziest MF in there they can find. And if Trump wins the election, there will be mass resignations across many agencies. That used to get a Prez to a point of resignation, maybe impeachment, but Trump and the GOP are HOPING for this as part of the strategy of putting the craziest Trump loyalists in power.... removing the last checks and balances in the system. There would not even be enforcement of a Supreme Court ruling if they ruled against Trump. McConnell leaving is another loss of that check and balance. one less brick in the wall. Assuming there is a special election, the Democrats should be unlimited amounts of money to get someone elected in KY.
  7. why does there have to be a 'why'? Pretend you have the answer to 'why'.... what difference would it make and what would you do with that information? see where that goes into an endless counting of jabs with no outcome or purpose
  8. 'Stand your ground' law now associated with more deaths from guns (scrippsnews.com) - difficult to find good data, largely because government is not interested in tracking much of anything to do with gun violence
  9. 'that comment'. I notice you had no comment whatsoever on the ACTUAL executive summary that I posted from your referenced paper. Please, quote that executive summary, especially the parts of it that support your 'summary'
  10. Soon enough, Trump will also ally with whatever country or leader will help him pay his bills. That alone is a security risk for the USA. Oh wait, he is already doing that.....
  11. or actually advocating for the overthrow of democracy in America, which makes them complicit in it but could actually have nothing to do with Russia. I have been saying it for decades that there is a significant double digit portion of the American population that would hand power over to a dictator because that America would be 'more like them and what they believe'..... and it is really easy to loot the country when it is in chaos than when it has checks and balances.
  12. Never mind, as usual, someone else is doing your work for you https://www.ipcc.ch/report/ar6/wg1/downloads/report/IPCC_AR6_WGI_Chapter12.pdf Executive summary is page 1770 as is ACTUALLY a summary, hence why they called it 'Executive Summary'. It says nothing about what you claimed in your first post. In fact, the executive summary pretty much contradicts everything you said in several paragraphs and comes to completely opposite conclusions that you managed to derive. You do realize that taking a single page from a document that has at a minimum over 1800 pages to make a case is the very definition of cherry-picking and is also the near perfect example of bad research and incorrect conclusions.
  13. It's one 'Table 12.12', assuming a chapter 12 and likely 11 other tables, figures, drawings, diagrams or whatever. Link to it all please.
  14. nowhere on that page it there a title calling that a 'summary'. Try again. Link to the entire document please..... you're the one that posted it - let's see the entire thing.
  15. you are linking to a single page of a document that looks like it has literally hundreds of pages? and basing your claim on that single page? research much?
  16. There's a lot to be said for that statement yes. People are often power hungry and groups of people more so. It is why we have checks and balances.... Trump is looking to remove the checks and balances that impede him.
  17. gun laws are neither 'liberal' nor otherwise. OTHER COUNTRIES have guns, effective guns laws and less death, injuries and the like from gun violence. The USA stands alone in trying to justify the lame ass excuses it continuously spouts for justifying its open access to weaponry But I am sure that you have overwhelming evidence to show the massive reduction in death, injury and crime due to the lax gun laws in the USA, right?
  18. Yeah, I am sure that dead woman is cheering for the freedom she preserved for her country...... I mean, the MOST important thing is that 2nd amendment rights were preserved.....
  19. when the bullets started flying, they all shit their pants and ran like everyone else.
  20. Conservative group tells judge it has no evidence to back its claims of Georgia ballot stuffing - ABC News (go.com)
  21. sounds like a few deep-pocket billionaire campaign donors in the USA probably still have Russian interests that they would not want to see seized and sold off. Just my guess. If you think politicians are working for us, then you are dreaming
  22. my other MAGA friend... 'but who is the victim here?' Still making shitty excuses for the biggest piece of shit con artist fraudster that ever entered the White House. The TAXPAYERS are the victim.... everyone in NY paid higher taxes BECAUSE Donald J Trump stole money from the state coffers. The same money that goes to build roads, pay for education, feed hungry children. I am sure there are programs that take care of homeless veterans as well. Donad Trump stole from those programs by committing fraud. He's an ACTUAL piece of shit con man. I hope he dies penniless from colon cancer
  23. not a bad idea. I wonder how that could be implemented and who coordinates it.... in the meantime, Ukraine just pulled out and retreated from an area/city they could no longer hold on to. Russia has far more staying power than Ukraine does, just the population alone, so despite their losses and despite Putin being a sociopath, Russia will win the 'tie game' if it lasts long enough
  24. so you cannot point to a law that has been broken or not followed? Your original claim, and once again you digress to unrelated tangents to try and move away from your inability to accurately describe any problem.
  25. and you make the insinuation (at least) that the second a gavel hits the judges desk, about a deportation, that this person is escorted to the airport and put on a flight. Nothing takes any time right? It should be instantaneous right? Which law was broken if that takes say, 60-90 days to complete? I asked you to spell out the laws that YOU claimed were not being followed.
