its been a pain in the ass latley here in nyc to get any jumps in since memorial day weekend due to terrible weather...but todayi woke up..looked outside..it was beautifull...i got dressed..walked outside..and the wind slapped me right in the face.. called 3 dropzones...they all said it was too windy up there... i need to jump!!!! what should i do instead? -------------------------------------------- www.facebook.com/agentlead

i was wondering if you more experianced jumpers have any tips or tricks on how to tell the direction the wind is blowing on a out landing where there are no wind socks or flags or anything of that nature i remember landing out and just not knowing which way to land...ended up landin downwind and busting my ass all over the parking lot are there certain things you guys look for to tell which way its blowing? -------------------------------------------- www.facebook.com/agentlead

yeah theres plenty of space to land...there are 2 landing areas...plenty of room.. and plenty of outs..just be sure to look out for the barb wire at the end of the runway by the big hanger.... i found out the hard way... -------------------------------------------- www.facebook.com/agentlead
