Cost me about $1500 to get my A license a couple of years ago. That was everything included and it took me 29 jumps to complete. Of course there was gas to get to the dz and all the times I drove up and got winded out. And then there is the beer. Also, don't be surprised to have to redo a couple of jumps. Just because you did fine in the tunnel doesn't me it will be the same in the sky. It's a little different with the gound comming at you. Have a blast. It's worth whatever you need to pay. Scott

Wow, what a great time. Yes, it was my first boogie , so I have nothing to compare it too. But , there was plenty of food to snack on and plenty of freindly people to jump with. I often here of other places that are cliquey but that certainly isn't the case at Sevin Hills. If you manifested by yourself it didn't stay that way for very long. Special thanks to all of CSC's very professional pilots. You guys did an awesome job. Can't wait til next year.

And by all means. If you are going to get a used car, you need to run the CARFAX report on it if you are serious. We ran it on a bunch of different cars we were looking at and found that one had been in a serious accident and the other in a moderate accident. Luckily we found this out and didn't give them a second look. Good Luck. I don't envy you a bit. Scott

Sounds like people either love it or hate it. I just think it would kinda bite having to fly out to pick up a vehicle and then find out it was misrepresented. How did some of you pay for the item? We have used PayPal for small stuff but the larger items that need to be financed are totally different. Scott

Have any of you ever bought a vehicle on Ebay? What was your experience like? Was the vehicle how it was represented? Were thinking about bidding on ebay but are a little nervous about buying a car from the other side of the country off of the internet. I suppose it should be ok since that's how I bought my rig. It just makes me nervous to spend lots of money on something I haven't seen or know anything about. Scott

Wow. After reading the first post I am really confused. Maybe if it could be explained a little better with all the emotion taken out first and with just the facts. Let me see if I have it somewhat straight. The landlord (the 68year old man with the son who served in the army for 23 years, and of course is a simple old farmer) leased his land to another farmer (the big, mean corporate farmer with no conscience) for a period of time. Now the lessee is trying to take the landlords land from him. Is that correct? Ok. I am going to guess the landlord had an agrreement with the lessee. IF the amount paid was agreed on and the lessee paid it then it is settled. From the description that warpedskydiver gave I am guessing the landlord leased the land to the other farmer for a set number of years and when the price of commodities started the rise, got greedy and wants more rent than was agreed upon or wants out of the contract to rent to someone else whom offered him more. IF that is the case I am guessing the renter is trying to hold him to the agreement that they both agreed to. IF this is the case I have to side with the other farmer. Should the renter offer to pay the landlord a bonus for his land? Maybe it would be a goodwill gesture and nothing more. Does he have to? No. If this more accurately describes what happened,the landlord needs to suck it up for the duration of the contract. When the contract is over, rent to someone else. If that is what happened then it describes the problem that some landowners are having right now, GREED. Some renters are entering into contracts with good faith and then the landlords are trying to break it to get higher rents. I hope I understood this correctly. If not, wardskydiver, you need to explain it better and give more facts and less emotion. Maybe this will be less of a problem if corn keeps heading south like it did on Friday. Scott

way to double space hey i love animals.. some of them are tasty and some of them are cute, some of them... not so. whats best in when they are cute and tasty but seriously i love animals and was at one point considering going into veterinary medicine, but i opted for human medicine instead, i love my german shepard dog almost as much as i love my wife. i have a guinea pig and a rabbit who live together, and a cat that has some wierd form of mange dog bless its soul. pun intended. but we eat these animals for cryin out loud, i don't care how they die, its not like theres some fiendish owner of a chicken farm out there who plans elaborate painful deaths for poultry. and its not as if cattle and other animals have any cognitive thoughts about death, heres a day in the life of a cow cow sleeps standing up/cow wakes up/cow eats,shits & pisses/cow goes back to sleep the cow doesn't run around its pen thinking about how its going to die and could probably care less. in the hunting gathering days if you were the guy that thought killing animals was wrong or cared about how they died, then you didn't eat because you couldn't contribute. they didn't have vegetarians back then because no body had that mentality, maybe in other parts of the world like india, but this is an american thing, if peta went to india or turkey and tried to bitch about animal rights they themselves would probably be eaten. and speaking of animal rights... WE KILL THEM SO WE CAN EAT THEM! we don't raise them in a controlled environment so we can give them rights. we americans have the bill of rights. its the first part of the constitution no where in there does it say anything about giving the animals any equality to us, and you know why?... CUZ WE EAT THEM YA HIPPIES! people want to treat animals humanely, that is to say we want to treat them like humanity, elaborating further leads us to, i want to treat that animal like a human, and that were you get these people who dress thier cats up in stupid outfits and spurt gibberish baby talk at them as if they understand seems like odd behaviour to me --------------------------------------------------------------- Just when I thought everybody had lost their common sense, you had to go putting the truth in here.
