  2. The last stage of my AFF course was 3 hop & pops from 5000 then 4000 and finally 3000ft. I'll admit I was a tad nervous on the first one but after I nailed the exit, I relized I had plenty of time and didn't need to be worried at all and really enjoyed the next two. I still like the idea of starting at 5k and working your way down through a few jumps. 5k is low enough to make a 10 jump wonder a bit nervous but high enough to allow for a stuff up. Seen plenty of AFFs stuff the exit due to nerves so starting just a bit higher before going to 3k makes sense to me. Just relaying what I went through and have seen. 3. Wanted one to sew onto the upper leg of my jumpsuit (already got one on my chest strap) and saw that one but thought it was a bit too long for where I wanted to put it so got the smaller (nearly 4 1/2" long) version. http://www.legear.com.au/Benchmade-7-Safety-Cutter-Hook-Black-Finish-p/benchmade-7blkwadc.htm Big handle with a grippy texture that makes it easy to extract and hopefully not drop and sharp as all shit. Hasn't been the best $38 I've spent yet but haven't had to use it yet Remember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.

    Creeper sex?

I can understand why you might think so but not everything skydivers do outside of jumping is......(trying to think of the right word here) "bad"! http://www.ultimatecreepers.com/ As for the poll, I don't mind my sessions being a little...different, but with the wheels, I think it would be too hard to gain any shall we say "traction". Of course you could always use these I suppose - Remember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.

  6. I'm not sure of your point. The fact is, if you stick that mount down, I wouldn't bet my life on the fact that the mount would rip off. The Gopro mounts are hard enough to remove let alone a mount with double the surface area and the way the housing sits in Cookies new mount would make it virtually impossible to break the housing free (leaving the mount behind) by twisting it. The only reason I would stick it (and did) is to prevent having to drill holes in the helmet. If I was still worried about an entanglement, I would rather have a busted nose or torn ear for that matter than bounce. However having said that, I have a square1 Gopro mount and I stuck it down on my G3 but I'm not kidding myself that I think I could peel it off in a hurry. I've had a Gopro for over a year on an open face but I fitted a cut away before I jumped it. When I got my G3, despite it coming with a Gopro mount already attached (second hand purchase), I waited till I got a square1 mount before I jumped it with my Gopro. For me, I'm happy that the profile of the setup is about a snag free as you can get. I even removed the plastic tightening knob on the side and fitted a standard pan head bolt. Notice I said "For me". If your not comfortable jumping it bolted, don't kid yourself that its any safer stuck down. 7. According to Cookie - 8cm up from the front of the visor opening. http://www.flycookie.com/data/Instructions/G3%20Roller%20Assembly%20A4.pdf Remember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.
  8. You can always get some 3M VHB (Very High Bond) 4991 tape and stick it on instead of bolting it if it makes you feel better. It's exactly the same tape that Gopro use on their mounts but I would still consider a cutaway. Given the increased surface area of Cookie's new mount, I reckon it would take a shitload of force to peel it off and the new mount is alloy so you can't expect it to break. I would stick it on so you don't have to put holes in your helmet NOT because I was under the illusion it might peel off when your screaming through your hard deck with a ball of shit attached to the top of your helmet. 11. Yeah wasn't sure as I haven't seen one used. My only suggestion is if you do cut a hole is to keep it as small as absolutely possible and if you can, make it a round hole to try and prevent any cracks from appearing at corners. Good luck.
  12. Have you tried using L&Bs altimeter tool to remove it? Apparently used to remove Viso II from their altimeter pockets without doing any damage. Don't know how well they work or if it will work with a Optima or not but just might save you a whole lot of grief and only $10. http://www.chutingstar.com/skydive/viso-ii-packing-tool Remember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.

  14. I probably shouldn't but I'm going to have a second crack at this... put your rig on, get on a creeper pad and practice pitching 20 - 30+ times in a row (wouldn't worry about repacking the bridle in between) and even better if you can do this in front of a mirror then immediately repack the PC and bridle and go jump. Keep doing this till you find yourself doing it without having to think about it. Repetetion to enforce muscle memory is the key just like practicing EPs. If that doesn't work.......I still say try the string.
  15. Tie a length of string from your balls to your toe with only enough slack to allow you to bend your leg a little bit. I reckon you'll have that habit broken in no time. Remember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.
  16. Community service anouncement - When you make a post, under the box you type in, there are 7 "buttons" The last one says "url". To make a link clickable, click on the url "button" once then paste your link next to it then click the url "button" again. That's it. No magic, no complicated computer voodo, just two clicks either side of the link and hey presto. It's not rocket surgery people. Remember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.
  17. Not picking here but a bit confused. Are you saying you can jump a camera with less than 200 jumps IF you have a helmet cutaway for your full face but if you have an open face you don't need a cutaway and after 200 jumps your DZ doesn't require you to have a cutaway for either?? Remember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.
  18. Yes, they entered a verbal contract. The publicity generated through "Justin beiber was banded from a wind tunnel... What's a wind tunnel - OMG we need to do this when we goto Vegas next month!!! *young teen girl giggles with her friends* is better than a photo spot! Yeah but if you took legal action against him, it would generate even more publicity AND you just might get the money owed to you. It would be a win win for them. Plus I'd like to see that little snot get whats comin to him! Remember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.
  19. The fact that they have duel audible pockets was the final decider for me. I think only one other full face manufacture has the same. .........and they look cool Remember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.
