What is tech diving? For some reason it popped into my head how our instructor told us a story of his buddy being a bit aways and dropped his regulator simulating he was out of air and he had to go "save" him...the mere thought makes me so scared... not skydiving scared....or roller coaster scared...scared scared...bad scared...maybe it's not for me...hehehe...... ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

It's always better to err on the side of caution. I jump a Vengeance 120 and when I get back into it later this season or next... no way in HECK am I jumping that thing. I've got 350 jumps and I currently weigh about 135. I'll be jumping my Sabre 135 until I'm comfortable again (and I lose 15 more lbs). What about renting a canopy from Square 1. That's what hubby did after he broke his ankle and didn't want to go back to his Vengeance. You can rent a 150 and get comfy again. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

My instructors were awesome. I was very nervous in the open water because well.. we were at 30 feet deep and because it was a different instructor. I was scared to death. In the pool a student instructor spent like 15 minutes with me practicing the mask off thing so I could pass it. I've never been that scared skydiving in my life. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

Sorry.. they only allow the blue tooth for the headset. The rest is blocked... ie connecting it to your computer via bluetooth. They want you to pay extra for that. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

Hubby and I just got the razrs from verizon... they block the blue tooth..but he's hacked his enough (not the bluetooth but the phone) so he can put pics on it and what not. We like our razrs.... ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

Bet I would've been an interesting student.. I had serious issues with taking my mask off.. I'm a nose plugger and cannot STAND water in my nose. On my open water...had the mask off....freaked out trying to get it back on..couldn't breathe in or out..bailed.....instructor slowing me down..me unable to breathe.... my worst nightmare nearly came true! ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

How many people here are certified scuba divers? How do you find scuba diving in relation to skydiving. After I skydive I want to scream and shout to the world how much fun it was and I get perma grin. After I scuba dive I want to have a drink and relax.. it puts me in a very relaxing mood. I get that reaction when I say I'm a skydiver... i'm a programmer and I rarely get tha reaction..course there are 4 programmers in my office and 3 of us are women..... Course one of the women cries whenever we tell her she made a mistake..... ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?
