i took a NOLS course for a WEMT cert. It helped me save lives. seriously. it was a little more extensive than a Wilderness First Aid(WFR) but it did the trick. its really helpful. word. Dont die!

if you sit bacj and think about it, anyone could hit the guy wires, anytime really. ive seen close buddies fly through wires and get really close to wrapping up. if someone hits them, shit happens, there really is no reason to bash on someone because they burned your object, an object, accidents happen. i never agreed with this thread in the first place, and it makes me upset that people are still commenting things like this so far after the incident. its a dead issue. drop it. alright, so i'm stuck at a bit of a dilema. i have one rig, a twin pin rig that i am very happy with. but now its time to buy a second rig. i know i wont really get a straight answer from anyone, but hey, some advice and "opinions" would be a great deciding factor. So. if you have a pin rig already and really like pin rigs in general, would you a. buy a second pin rig or b. buy a velcro rig my only thinking in buying a second pin rig is only that i feel comfortable with it. but, as many have said and i have seen there are much less complications at exit points and closing packjobs with a velcro rig. SO. whats your take? Dont die!

yeah my second jump was a tower. and i got instructions on how to climb over the sketchy fence part. they told me that was the hardest part. Dont die!

i agree with the asylum superhero theory. i jumped a few other rigs. and couldnt get stable off the exit. then i tried on a perigee pro with a (BR)fox 265 and wow, what a difference. all my exits have been flat and stable.and to add more, since i got the Triax "t-stake" ive been throwing gainer(s) and getting laid on a regular basis! life couldnt be better. i also have to add that one of the most important things with base gear are cool colors. cause you cant look stupid. cause that kindof makes you stupid. alright. over and out. try and spend as much money as possible. thats also key. those pictures are soo badass. russ.the fact that you put your life in collins hands was pretty ballsy...i'd say a bit more ballsy than actually jumping...but hatts off to collin for the most terrified face on exit! rock on guys. it was awesome to watch.
