  1. Quick question Scott because I don't have this straight: How did that crew member get hypoxia while on air? Or if somehow he wasn't on air, why wasn't he on air after passing above 15K ? 2. Seems like the CX100 has stiff competition from Canon's HF100 that has more pixels (2M vs 1.43M), night mode (even skydivers sometimes need nightmode), same sized screen with more buttons, and about the same size. It's more available and sells for less. Just wondering. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

  4. Yeah, the length and the leg tailoring take getting used to, but damn it's fast and glides like a champ. The flying position is more intuitive also. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  5. Well the shutter timer didn't allow enough time to set the camera down in the just right spot, run back, zip up, strike the typical pose, and throw a cheesy smile all while having perfect hair. So I gave up on the perfect hair and cheesy smile.. oh well, we all gotta make compromises. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. 6. An outstanding suit... I'm sooo excited to go 'legs on ass flying'/backflying/freeflying with this suit Many thanks to the PF team and Morpheus for their continued support of my flying. 7. Ah, easy solution once you think of it: instead of 3 cubic meter slots use 6 or 9 cubic meter slots until noone is out of their predetermined slot anymore. Additionally, they are all record attempts and records, as long as you don't include the word "Official". "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. 8. We're not trying to increase span, because we already have those inventions available (hanggliders). -Mr. Robert Pecnik "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  9. I'm sure the horse is long dead on this one. Either the claim happened or it did not, so the 2 options are: 1. The evidence shows it happened as claimed. 2. No evidence; claim did not happen. It's easy to see which option was chosen. If we don't require evidence to back the claim then I should mention that last weekend I took a bunch of first flight students and did a slot perfect 72 way Galactic Record. 10. Easy there, careful about speaking to soon as there is no evidence yet. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  11. Good to see you still have decent weather, I'm sure you got good stuff, especially with that fancy new helmet. Photo courtesy of Mucho BASE team, DF perhaps? "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  12. Great, only about 30 more slots to go! "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

  15. IF one of them has experience and skill, yes it's easy. Or is this assuming both guys are newbs? If it doesn't work out at first it's because one or both need to learn to fly. 16. Yes, we're the same size. I demoed direct from the manufacturer, oddly enough. But I did like the V2 and flew it almost exclusively for the past 200ish WS jumps, so maybe it still comes down to preference on whether you will like the next Vampire. 17. Yes, very impressed. PF has outdone themselves again and raised the level of high-performance WS. I'm excited enough that when I get it I'll begin training on it in whatever silly-low temps we'll have here at the time. 18. I'm guessing it has a few more days but if it helps you could set the existing pictures on your computer background. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  19. The bitching would perhaps be reduced by having classes, alot like racing. Open class to fly whatever you brought. Production class to fly whatever has been commercially available for 6 or more months. Alot like offroad motorcycle racing when the factories brought super-expensive, super-lightweight motorcycles to race against privateers whose bikes were heavy production machines with a fraction of the resources invested. Weight limits were imposed to level the field. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  20. Yeah, not sure if I can pull it off but I'll try to have a Phantom 2 for flocking and V3 for solos, that'll be a sweet setup.
  21. For all those still wondering about cost, looks like Morpheus has announced on their site that they are taking orders and it's listed there. It's an unsurprisingly great deal.
  22. Is there a group order deal? I've got at least 1 maybe 2 other orders to send in with mine. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  23. Another thing to check on the gear side would be your bridle near the pin, if you don't have enough slack on the canopy side near the pin that will cause hesitations. Skymonkey1/Chuck Blue wrote a good thread about this, good reading if you're not yet familiar with that condition. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it.
