  2. Yeah... I'm not sure if there would be any skijump course with a landing ramp that far away from the takeoff, so it would just be a wingsuit base with a skijump exit (cool!). "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  3. I've gone through the great length to translate the above posts to the Bottom Line: " It's gonna rock!!! " Now all I wanna know is how long till the first shipments get out. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  4. "- Large back deflector reduces drag and increases lift. " I'm confident it must be there somewhere, but don't notice it. It must not be similar to the rear deflector on the S3 and V1 then. Scary Perry

That's odd, under the skills category there is an impressive list of hobbies, and wingsuiting is in no way mentioned as one of them..? "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  6. Looks pretty sketchy to me as well, but hey, if it's not risky, try it and let us know how it works out for you. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  7. Well, ultimately it's up to him, as I'm sure you know, and hopefully he learns how to handle the canopy properly before he gets into a bad situation, or he'll learn a lesson the hard way. 8. Thanks for fighting the good fight, and happy hunting. Hopefully they will run out of people to send and things will quiet down until the next generation grows up. But who knows, with how long they have been killing each other over there anyways, it could be a while to wait. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. 9. Im thinking you'd have to know the aerodynamic drag coeeficient of the board, and ignore and drag due to the rider, but I also do not have an Aeronautical degree. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  10. I do it ALL the time, since I dont have DZs that are close, it saves alot in gas. Just be sure to wear a big jacket over it, and you're good to go. Over the jacket I wear a backpack where I store the helmet and the other accessories. Piece of cake. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. 11. That's odd... I have used a 22" ZP Cazer with my Sabre 170 with no problems, except on subterminal openings it isn't so quick. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  12. I second what Reginald said. Looks like the dive was organized in such a way that getting the 8-way round was a higher priority than the safety of the jumpers, or else a low-timer wouldn't have been on the jump. The low-timer performed as expected, and as most low-timers do, but the jumpers and organizer(s) need to look at their own mistakes. 13. Improve your tracking skills, so you achieve separation quicker and can pull higher than 3K. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  14. Nah, replaced mine as soon as I did the upgrade. You may try contacting Neptune to see if they can email you the older updater. Or at the worst you'd have to send the unit in. 15. Anybody have any info, or can obtain info on when the new PF intermediate suit will be introduced?? thanks. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  16. I really prefer and use all tube stows over rubber bands, and hate double stowing bands cause I find the lines dont stay as neat. And if they really reduce line wear as advertised, even better. -Tony R "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  17. Just my humble opinion, I would tend to think the real causes were the preexisting conditions, not the drugs themselves(this is in no way advocating the use of drugs-drugs are bad). The drugs didnt cause the OD, the preexisting conditions did. The drugs were merely one of very many available avenues (unless you live in a padded room). jump song

What about 'Take it to the bridge' by Crazy Town Not really skydiving, but still jumping of some sort. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  19. What about specs? Is it worth it to go for a camera with slightly higher effective pixels and total megapixels (such as those over 1MP, with better video quality overall) Is it economical to get an HC 90 for example, or is the added performance not worth the hassle if/when it breaks down (compared to the cheaper models)? Thanks "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  20. That sounds like a good technique. Unfortunately not everyone (including me) owns the book, so you would need to be a bit more descriptive with the details on how you executed it for us to learn from it. So far I'm guessing rear-riser flare. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

    Stows

I'm curious to get the views of the general populace on tube stows versus small rubber bands versus the regular size rubber bands double stowed. Should you only use one type for the entire bag, or which go where, etc. I'm trying to see if one or the other may have a pattern of either line dump/twist, and which configuration gives the best reliability.
