  1. Anything you've got two of and anything you won't miss.... on the black market of course. A kidney, a lung,.... Bone marrow might be a good one too :-). I hear it's painful though. I's a bit of a crap shoot finding someone rich with leukemia who's a match, fingers crossed though!
  2. Don't sweat it, I just had candy bar :-) My last for a while. I need to work out more, most of my loss is due to fewer burgers and more salads. It's quite effective. It is tough making the time work out.

    MAD

Maybe you & everyone you know will be the first under the mushroom cloud as everyone nation with an axe to grind denies responsibility for the sudden explosion.
  4. You choose to invent what you find convenient. Like when you posted that Iran had released the hostages.
  5. My hat's still in the ring. My fall rate has improved . A few people are starting to notice, it's a mixed blessing when a guy at work tells you you look attractive. P.S. I'm sure he's straight, it was a communication thing, he just noticed the weight loss and tried to compliment me. I could have done without that.
  6. You certainly can, like when you said the hostages had already been freed. Don't lump me in with your "we" there's nothing "we" about you and the U.K.
  7. Your willingness to fabricate any old shit about the UK and excuse manifest, obvious abuses by Iran reveals your bias. You Darius and others here are bending over backwards to excuse Iran and simply invent versions of events with no basis in reality. Iran could release these hostages now. They could grant consular access, they could stop issuing propaganda penned by the hostages. We're still waiting on the release of the 15, which according to Darius' bullshit happened long ago. Despite an overt act of aggression Iran is being given a chance to pull back from the brink, instead they demand that the UK government hang it's peope out to dry by issuing a false confession, not to secure a release but to facitilate some nebulous bullshit that would still leave them at the mercy of people who only want to exploit their captivity, yet you just lap it up and excuse an act of war.
  8. That's shallow, you could dismiss the trinity as semantic rubbish just as easily. While you might think it's all rubbish, traditional doctrinal differences hinge on these issues and take the distinctions very seriously, even if they make absolutely no frikin' sense.
  9. look on a map, you think a caucasion man such as is presented in most any church really came from that region? Roy I know where it is on a map. I also know what Jews in the region look like (not just the newer immigrants). That kind of appearance seems like the most obvious and likely possibility. While I wouldn't expect the guy to look like Robert Powell I would be surprised if he could be described as black by any stretch of the imagination, which is something I've heard people claim.
  10. Bill and the CIA chose their words very carefully. She was not a clandestine agent at the time, therefore it was not a crime. The real lies are those which are used to pretend a crime was committed and to use the intentional media confusion to destroy people like Scooter Libby. Plame & hubby made out like a bandits while pursuing a political agenda. Scooter Libby was the victim, and now the pot calls the kettle black. Bill you have no moral high ground to crow from, you're promulgating flagrant hypocrisy and deception.
  11. http://www.cnn.com/2007/LAW/03/30/texas.manslaughter.ap/index.html I can see the logic of it.
  12. I've never understood the debate, he was a jew from Nazareth/Bethlehem.
  13. http://www.randycrow.com/articles/022707.htmAnd our SF and drones have been invading SOVERIGN territory for quite some time. Who are the bad guys? You almost sound British the way you say "our" while discussing British hostages. Welcome aboard, it's good to have close friends.

I think any other approach is foolish dogma, IF is the big word here. RWS employees may be right.
  15. Yup, they announced they would do this ahead of time too.
  16. So there can be no enforcement of Iraqi territorial waters? They were in Iraqi waters. Even if it were the case that they were in Iranian waters (and they were not) what Iran is doing NOW is indefensible. It is an act of war. Darius has made every excuse possible for Iran's outrages, including saying that they would be released. They are hostages and changing demands have been issued before they can be released. They are being exploited to issue propaganda statements for Iran. I really don't care what conclusion your brand of demented moral equivocation produces. The conduct is manifest, trying to excuse it merely betrays your own bias.
  17. ... hmmmm your beat me to it, but your first link was originally to wikipedia.
  18. The definition is implicit, do you want to define every word you should know? Despite your professed dispelief in reality he DID post a link to a very clear definition.
  19. Are you serious? This must be some form of theological McCarthyism designed to make atheists brains implode. But just in case you really aren't trying to make me burst a blood vessel and actually don't have a grasp on what reality is, try reading this. Seriously, is this a joke? Alas no, post modern philosophy has well and truly climbed up its own arse, gotten lost and undermined the potential of millions through rampant deconstruction and post* bullshit. The direct impact you see in inane questions like "What is reality?", from people, truly out of their depth who think it's an intelligent contribution. Now in some sense this can be a profound and deep question, but in the post modern interpretation it is merely insipid relativism as a substitute for critical thinking. They should have stopped with Popper's falsifiability, instead they threw the tools of objectivity out the window. Like any metastasized cancer, it's a very sorry mess to witness.
  20. They aren't POWs there is as yet no war, but that's where this is headed. They are captured armed forces personnel in uniform. All your pseudo sophistry and phony moral equivalency is just so much bullshit. Where prisoner abuses have occurred they have made shocking headline news and have been prosecuted. They are not systematic abuses perpetuated by the leaders of government and justified by their diplomats and other apologists. The central issue of applicability of the the Geneva Convention is the status of illegal combatants. America would be well within it's rights to execute illegal combatants on the battlefield under the Geneva Convention, it does not. These personnel are UK armed forces members captured illegally. they were in uniform under their national flag, and they have been subjected to absolutely despicable exploitation intentionally and calculatedly by the Iranian government. Shifting ransom demands are being made and disgustingly people here still think it's great sport to excuse the crime.
  21. This is the illegal kidnapping of British forces personnel from Iraqi sovreign territory where they had a right to be. They are now hostages with demands being issued to secure the release of one hostage. They are paraded on television and coerced into making written statements against British government policy and in favor of Iran's goals. Meantime consular access is denied. Maybe this heinous action is impressive in the Middle East and with Iran's idiotic apologists here, but it is reprehensible behavior of the lowest kind. This ongoing disgrace constitutes an act of war. This conduct is inexcusable and reprehensible as is making excuses for it and promulgating a series of shifting lies in its defense.
  22. Yup, and you can touch it too, no ropes or pedestal. It's almost mundane sitting by the roadside, abused by the weather (unless I'm confusing the location). There's one here in San Diego too (actually it's an A-12 but they look very similar): http://www.sr-71.org/photogallery/blackbird/06933/index.php?file=06933-10.jpg
  23. I've never said anything sinister was necessarily afoot. I understand your point though, there may be good reasons I'm not privvy to. AAD should be informed of those reasons in detail. I've given the posts by Terry Urban more thought and offer my apologies to PIA et.al. I don't have a dog in this hunt and they have a right to run their organization as they see fit and I can see the advantages and disadvantages of their chosen charter. Ultimately I have more faith in the integrity of their membership than my posts reflected.
