there are no wind tunnels in Virginia. But Skydive West Point is right down the road. The closest Tunnel to us is in raeford, NC about 3 hours away. The tunnel will help with body position and arching. But there is no sustitute for jumping out of an airplane. The tunnel will never hurt your progression it can only help. I could only hope for a tunnel in Virginia. In an earlier thread we were discussing the merits of a tunnel in the mid atlantic area. 24 weeks when your custom made Vector doesn't fit and you send it back and get it back and it still doesn't fit right. gave up and jump the most unconfortable rig i have ever had. Seriously thinking about selling this rig and going back to Javelin or Icon. Both of tose used rigs fit me better than me "custom"made rig. Let me say this, everyone I have delat with at UPT has been extremely nice and helpful but they just can't seem to get this rig to fit properly on me. I live in Richmond, VA home of the tobacco industry. I know a couple of people that work for one of the large tobacco companies here in Richmond. One guy in particular is an engineer and he told me a few weeks ago that they have already been discussing how to convert some of the machines from tobacco to weed to roll, package and ship packs of joints like a pack of cigs. He said based on some of their research that this would greatly increase the profits and that it would readily replace the large number of people quitting cigs. I guess the ironic thing is that weed is pretty much the onluy drug that does not have to soem how be manufactured into a final product. It does not have to be fermented, brewed, processed or design in a lab or factory or in some drug companies R & D deapartment. All you got to do is walk over pull it out of the ground , let it dry and smoke away. I hope someday the ignorance and narrow minded people stop making decisions for me. I'm a guy and i would never use a coupon on the first date. To me that is just being a cheap MF'r. If you ask a girl out on a date you should be able to pay for the date. Now, don't get me wrong I love to save a buck wherever i can and on future dates with the same person I would not be shy in whipping out a coupon especially if it was for an amusement park or something like that. But first date at a resturant no way! I am also a very generous tipper regardless of coupons. I tend to use coupons for shopping. I will cut the coupons out of the sunday paper and I do have my little baggie of coupons I take to do my grocery shopping. I don't think by throwing money around on a first date is going to impress the girl and if that does then she is not the girl for me. But I was raised old school and when you ask someone out you pay the frieght. Very simple. I wonder if nataly thinks clipping coupons out of the Sunday paper is sexy? If it is I am one sexy dude! My heart felt condolences. It is never easy especially with a dog you have had for so long. It is never easy but some dogs are just harder to put down than others. I have had to put down a couple of dogs. The first being the puppy my parents gave me for my 5th birthday. I had to come home from college and put him down just after my 18th birthday. That was a tough one. I cried like a baby all the way to the vets office. I have two labs now and the oldest one is 10 and she has been a very special dog. We have been thru times together. Friends and lovers come and go but she is still by my side. I dread the day I have to put her down. I am going to be a wreck. Yeah I was in a fraternity in college. My main moitivation for joining was the food and the bear and the chicks. I hated dorm life and the food sucked. Once I got in I found out it was more than that and I gained a good circle of friends. It also played a part in where I have ended up today. I think it was a good experience overall and if your son wants to join a fraternity then I agree with everyone else and let him check them out and let him choose. Because he is the one that has too live there not you. But you should provide suggestions and talk to him about why he chose a particular fraternity.Aagain, like everyone else said there are good ones and bad ones. I was in Theta Delta Chi Omicron triton chapter and had the opportunity to visit all the chapters in New England and I can tell you there is a big difference in chapters from school to school. The MIT chapter was a museum whereas the Dartmouth chapter looked like something out of animal house-no exaggeration. You will be able to tell alot about a Fraternity by the way the house is kept.
